rev summit x track questions

I have a 04' rev summit x. The track is shot. I picked up a new track from someone. It has the same pitch and everything. But the extrovert driver windows are wider. It was for a 06' RMK. Will this cause any wear on the sides of the drivers? Will it cause the track to wobble any? Thanks....
