Rental Recomendations/ Areas to ride near Denver/ FT. Collins

Hey everyone, as the title says I'm looking for a place to ride and likely rent. I'm working in the Ft. Collins area at the moment but will work down towards Denver as well. I'm new to the area and haven't had much time to check it out and my sled is still back east. I'd be hoping to rent something like the Pro RMK if there are any available (have ridden M series and want to try something new). I probably won't really have much time to ride until early April, I can only imagine there is still plenty of snow then out here! Like I said I am from back east but ride all off trail in the White Mountains (hills for you guys probably). I'd also likely be looking to rent avy gear and spend some time learning how to use it. If anyone has any recommendations or would want to show a few new guys around the rockies let me know, it would be much appreciated!

Depends where you want to go and who you are with. I live in Grand County and there are several places to rent and ride. Lots of Northern front range folks head north to the snowies too. Where are you looking to go? Do you want to rent and ride from the same place, or rent and head somewhere else?

I'm open to go wherever. We will have the option of loading up and driving so anywhere is possible, but less driving would be better. I'm also going to try and make a trip up to the snowies at some point. I've emailed the one contact I have up that way to see what he had to say and am waiting to hear from him. I'd be riding with another buddy from NH, he has his personal sled out here though, but has no experience out in CO.

I'm no map quest expert but close to Denver would be Grand County. Several unguided rental options.

Grand Adventures - Corona Pass area in Winter Park
On the Trail - Grand Lake

Biggest sled you can get will be a 600 from these two. Ride in and out from their locations.

5 star power rentals at Power World in Granby rents 800's. You can take them wherever you want. Cats and Doos
