Rental options

We are getting closer to going on our trip to Colorado. Looking at renting from on the trail snowmobile rentals. Does it look like grand lake will still have good snow a week from now?? Or does anyone have any other suggestions as to where there is a good place to go with enough snow to snowmobile? Thanks.

Go to Snow Range Tours. http://www.snowyrangetours.com/ Ask for Cody or Caleb. Tell them Mike Pertzborn sent you. Its a short 1 1/2 hour drive from Longmont. The Snowies have the trails and the meadows and the snow is getting better everyday up there.

Does Moses still work there?

He comes out occasionally. If you have a larger group (4-10ppl) and call him ahead of time he will usually make the trek from Nebraska to ride. I rode/stayed with him about 3 weeks ago. He mainly works for the Federal Forest service and he got moved to NW Nebraska, but of course there isn't much work to be done in the winter. I can PM you his number if you are interested. He usually comes out about 1-2 weekends a month.

Caleb is a good guy/guide as well.

Our riding group actually hires Paul Moses every time we go to the snowies. It's nice to not have to worry or pay attention to where you are all day, and he takes you to the spots you wouldn't ever know were there until someone in the know takes you there. He is also usually the first to come help when you get stuck.

Thanks but i think we are going to stay at grand lake. are the 600 rentals have enough power for the powder and stuff? what sled has the best performance for the powder? i ride a mxzx with a 800 right now at home. thanks for all the help
