ya i have the 7 tooth drivers too and i cut 1.5" off the rails. i was just wondering if i would have enough clearance if i didnt move the suspension back.

Probably but I would take the front shock off and push the suspension up and check to make sure you didn't have a rail hit your driver later and take out your drivers.
instead of making the bent piece shorter what about moving it to a different hole? (see picture) i highlighted where there is 2 more holes that the bottom of the bar can be bolted. would this work the same as making it shorter?
