rear mount question

just finishing my rear mount nytro Alpine/trask kit.. its low boost... wondering if its standard for there to be nothing between track and the turbo/wastegate?? or do most people have a cover protecting turbo from snow/or other debris

my brother nytro is open my apex is inclosed it is claimed inclosed will spool up quicker.

im wrapping turbo with turbo blanket and exhaust is also getting wrapped so that should help with the spool.. im just nervouse bout a somthing coming up and hitting the turbo.. but i guess my coolers made it this far in the tunnel
