Rear Bumpers for the Pro RMKs

Cat bumper

I just stopped by my friendly local kitty cat dealer and ordered a 162 M8 bumper. Cost me 65 bucks, it will be here in a week and I will take it straight to get powder coated black to match my airframe boards. I'll post pics of the finished product.

Holz Racing Products

Here's ours:
Aluminum tube with knurled surface. Direct replacement for the stock tube.
Stronger than the stock piece and allot cheaper than some of the other bumpers out there.
$34.95

I installed this bumper on my pro replaced that flimsy one nice fit and it feels alot stronger than the stock one. At least now when I lift back end i dont have to worry about that tube snapping in half. Thank Holz!

You should still worry about the brackets breaking. The OEM bumper does look great, but easily broken. One of my buds already busted the tube and one bracket on his Pro. I don't trust it for towing out a dead sled. I'm putting the Cat bumper on mine.

Sent from my iPhone when I should be sledding.

Don't ride with Cat's or Doos... then you don't need a strong rear bumper!!

Want black and my cat dealer is brand new.

Pro RMK Rear Bumper

This is one of the easiest kits I have ever put on. Simple instructions and ease of installation make this a no-brainer for me.
The sides are cut with a Flo-Jet (pretty sure) with 155 or 163 cut out in the sides....welded rear tube and powder coated. Way heavier duty than the stock ones.

Totally Tubular in Aberdeen, SD makes them.

Anyone have a picture or two of the VanAmburg rear bumper installed on a Pro? Looking at options and havent been able to find any installed pics yet or any feedback. -Joe

Credit to Brandy, "CoyoteGirl" for the pics.

Best bang for the buck seems to be the stock cat bumper IMO. Looks factory. Now what about those crappy/do nothing/ported snowflaps. That is my next search.

I like the look of the IQ flap on these sleds.

I bought a Holz tube for mine and installed it. Looked and worked great. Then I saw a full titanium bumper from Boston Racing. I like titanium anything so I bought one and just got it. For $160 it's a deal. The side brackets and the tube are titanium. Light, strong and just really cool. All the machine work on the side brackets just has to eat tooling. They remove a lot of metal to lighten it up and titanium is hard on tools. It air hardens too so you gotten finish what you started or start over.

Anyone know which shop sells the alloy inner sleeve? I 've seen it here somewhere??????

JTPanels has the inner sleeve for anyone wanting to retain the carbon bumper. They aalso have alloy replacements in different finishes. Holz replaccement as far as I know are the only ones that are knurled.

Pro Rear Bumpers

Bunge hooked on over 20 times on Totally Tubualr bumper....this thing is HD!

Van Amburg boondocker bumper is very sturdy. It incorporates rear tunnel reinforcement and a sturdy bumper. I have several of them and recommend them highly.

Holz Racing has a direct replacement for the stock carbon fiber bumper. $35.00 I believe. Knurled even for better grip when lifting. We run them on both our pro's.
