Rabbit Ears Conditions? Riding buddies....

Better yet, go sit in the tree hugger lots and sell them granola and Mary Jane. Better market, sledders already have burritos in the muff pot.

Well you know most sledders are ready for a cold beer after a great day of riding and for those that come back earily cuz they broke an a-arm or bent something right off the bat...and watching people park which we all hope getZ better :)

There you have it. Keep a couple kegs in the trailer and sell cups. Keep a grille nice and hot and be roasting some brats. It's all good.

Gents,

Alaskan here .... do any of you guys know where burandt has his sledding operation ... what town is it near? His web site doesnt state it at all ... any help would be nice, thanks.

I am starting to plan a Sleddin Pilgrimage from Ak ... through the Yukon Territories to B.C. and then Idaho, Wyoming and into Colorado next winter and want to get my route set.

thanks for your help.

I had 4 awesome days of riding up north. Wednesday I rode Buff with elvis1280 and his buddy Eric. Snow was still really fluffy everywhere. Thursday, rode Buff from a different route with bushy. Thanks again bushy, I had a blast! Friday, rode from the ears towards Buff with billygoat, oldgoat, and a gentleman by the name of Dave. Snow really started gaining some consistancy and we were able to do a lot more riding on a larger scale of terrain. Thanks again to this group for an awesome day. Saturday was a day of 2 rides. Arcticman31 came up and we had a good morning ride on the ears. We went back to the lot and fueled up and rode the afternoon with VOHK, Adam, and Gilbert. Hard to explain where you ride with Erik, but it's always a super fun adventure. His new Polaris, still 100% stock for another day or so, really goes through the snow well and appeared to be extremely manuverable. Helps that he is as top notch rider as there is, but everyone with a new poo should be very excited.

Well, that's my story. Best November riding I've ever experienced and it is only getting better! Thanks again to everyone that I rode with and Mikey for a home away from home.

I had planned on a shake down run on Buff with Elvis1280 and a few other guys on Saturday that picked up some oil from me BUT..........my plan hit a rather large snag when I lost my driver side, front wheel bearing on my diesel.

Got up @ 3:45am... hit the Eisenhower tunnel at 5:45am (bearing blew...) made it to Silverthorne only to turn around and go back over Eisenhower.....met up with guys who were headed to Buff, they delivered the oil for me.

I then poked on down I-70 to Georgetown where some fantastic friends brought me tools and parts and I fixed the wheel bearing in the parking lot of the Visitors Center.

Back home in Longmont by noon and freekin exhausted. Resting up for a new shake down date..................T-day weekend!

I'm thinking I might be headed down to RE next Saturday. If you're there can you drop a case of oil off for me? :)

I'll let you know for sure probably Friday

Rode today with my dad, Boston Racing, and 500CID. Weather was better than I expected, was awesome Nov. riding. I'm feeling the soreness of the season's first ride already.

Latest Storm Totals ?

So does anybody know how much additional snow fell since these posts back dated 19th and 20th.. I hear 2-3 feet from weather stations. Should be a good topping on a decent base. Going to head up tomorrow morning to find out.
