Rabbit Ears Conditions? Riding buddies....

Not sure if I should divulge this information...but it's a big area. Rabbit Ears is located on highway 40 between Steamboat Springs and Kremmling. You can only snowmobile on the East Summit, Dumont Lake parking lot is where you want to be. You can stay in Steamboat Springs, Kremmling or Walden. Buff pass is located North of Rabbit Ears and East of Steamboat Springs. You actually go through downtown Steamboat to get to Buff. Be warned, parking at Buff is horrible. If you know where your going it's easier to ride North from Rabbit Ears to get to Buff. Hope this helps answer the questions some of you had.

here's a little tip for the rookie riders in these pics, when you feel yourself getting stuck, LET OFF THE THROTTLE.

My back hurts looking at these pics!

Man you guys are lucky the Big Horns don't have crap for snow...So wish I could be in the Ears right now!!!

Thank the Man upstairs for Bill Harmon and his Hi Lift Jack!!! Sorry I missed all the grunt work Bushy:sorry:

Didn't need a jack here. It was practically straight up so we ended up standing the sled up. Tried to spin it around but it was mired in the creek bottom, so we flopped it over backwards and rolled it. Drove out the way I came in. You missed out on the best early season snow I can remember. We're looking at end of December conditions already.
