R.E. Baker Suspension

Ok here's how it works. We were back at Turbo hill on Boulder Friday and I ask my kid how his Nytro was running, he says pretty good, so I say " You want to climb that big chute off the right side?" He said sure, and away he goes, no big deal, 3 turns and a straight pull over the drift at the top. The sled stays flat all the way up. Then at the end of the day he goes blowing past everybody on a whooped out trail on the way to the truck.

That is how this skid works. If you want a skid that works good everywhere and won't bend or break, then this is it.

They probably haven't updated the website because they are to busy building skids.

Sounds good to me!

Laird, (Triple Black), has gone back to work for the season, so I will throw in our experiences with this skid. Lance had brought a proto type by the shop earlier last summer, it looked real good, I explained the system to Laird over the phone, he ordered one almost directly, probably one of the first units sold.

We have had previous great experiences with Darryl's products, so when Laird was re-doing his Boosted 08 Nytro, he called up Darryl and got the goods, he installed the Racers Edge rear torque arm kit with his Ice Age Rails and stock Nytro front toque arm. Darryl had the Centre to Centres all figured out, it was a bolt in deal. It worked right out of the box with some minor tuning to Compression and re-bound to suite the sled and rider, then through some on hill tuning with Darryl on hand, they made up some additional tuning blocks for the coupling feature.

Like NM said above, from all out hill climb mode to mashing the moguls on the trail, it is the best rear skid that we have encountered. One may argue that a M10 may be better, but with the longer rails of a 174" skid, it is a clear advantage to have the torque arm mounted further back in the rails. You can see the strength advantage.

Definately an excellant product, quality workmanship, professional piece, great service. So the web-site is not updated, ..who cares, ...if you need a "real" quality rear suspension that works, give Darryl a call, you won't be disappointed.
