it's the absolutely the nutz.
Fast adjustments from trail setting to climbing mode. Skid hammers the moguls but doesn't hammer the rider.
Climbing it keeps skis down and skid pops up fast and stays on top.
Skid and sled stays flat no trenching
delivery to snow is so efficent i'am positive it kicked up the h.p. Big time.
For once i'am completely happy with a sled related purchase. Bonus= they answer their phone

he samurai does the rear arm tunnel mounting point move forward or back from stock position.iam curious because i have the same ac skid in my nytro & want put that kit on my sled.

I would recommend measuring your CtoC and then give them a call 403-254-8686.

Looks interesting but I must admit that has to one of the worst websites! For a few $$ they could have a website that would actually give them business.

I'am no expert on suspensions. But I now have 2 TS suspensions in the metal bin at the shop. Took forever to get them tuned to a acceptable level of preformance[keeping front end down]. Then they bent and cracked on us, Son is a jumper and climber.
The R.E. suspension took 20min. for us to tune on the snow. No dismantling or installing shims. Set gross preload, adjusted compression and rebound. Handles the worst trails better than any skid I've ever used. Skid gets on top side faster and stays there better than any skid I've tryed. Skis stay down, sled stay flat and in control.

So how much for the complete skid. Not using any of the old skid??? Looking for the AC M-1000 with boost.....Terry

Shrug...I dont have one nor have I seen one in person just been reading about them on SW.

Kit comes with mounting brackets for rear shock to rails. Rear shock and rear shock H-frame (whatever its called). I think that is it. You use the stock from H-frame and shock and this all mounts to your original rails. I think it mounts to tunnel using stock holes but no idea on that.

So if you want a complete new skid with all new parts then add-Front shock, H-Frame, Rails, Axle, Wheels, Hyfax.

Again I think this set up shows some real potential but the marketing aspect is far from stellar. Imagine something as wild as an actual picture of the kit with pricing?

So 2k for the half the guts of a rear skid? M10 is 3k for complete set of guts for rear skid-plus mounting kit?

Other must have some input on this kit? This off season I will be looking for a new skid for my T-Nytro possibly ez-ryde, m10, racers edge.

I was warned if I started this thread it would go side ways. I just wanted to post that I finally found a suspension I'am happy with. I've tryed 3 other suspensions and 1 made little difference, 1 wore out and got really sloppy in 1/2 a season, and the last one broke and bent. I've stated I'am no suspension expert but after many years of sledding I know what feels right under my azz.
I dont know why their website is the way it is.
I dont know why the costs are where there at
I'am not even sure, if Lance used the OE mounting holes on my skid rails.
I'am not sure if the C to C is kept the same on all models.
I'am not sure how long the expert riders field tested it but I know they did.

It's just best to call 403-254-8686, talk to Daryl or Lance. Or pm NM he has been running this set-up for as long as anyone. NM was very influential in my decision and patiently answered even my dumb ?'s.
I also want to repeat those other suspensions may have worked in the hands of a real suspension tuner, that I'am not. The Baker suspension is easy to tune in, STUPID EASY.
I apologize I started a thread that I cant answer the questions to and I know the statement. " I've tryed a few and this is the absolute nutz" doesn't cut it.
All I can say is call Baker.....Good peeps, expert info explained in a way that I seen the light.
1 thing I do know good chit costs good money

i definitely dont have a problem with the cost,not sure what all the guys are hung up on the cost for.this skid does what the m-10 does & you keep over a 1000$ in your pocket i dont see a problem with that.add the mounting brackets & the jack & its almost a 1000$ more.dont have to make a bunch of new holes in your tunnel seems like there is allot of good things to it.dont mind all the negative comments samurai that is the way snowest goes these days. if most guys knew what that shock was worth there would not be as much complaining.thanks for the info by the way.:beer;:beer;

Skid mounted to original holes on M1000 with CR tunnel and CR drop brackets
Much of the above items you dont need to purchase, I just wanted to update to the 09 skid. Which was a mistake I later found out for myself because the 07 rails released and exited snow better. Baker can make their suspension work for the 07 rails too. If at anytime you decide to change sled brands just pull the Baker system and replace the OE scizzor, then get the proper bracket for your new sled brand.
