Question to the moderator.

QUESTION.
One of the MOST COMMON comments I get from members over the last decade is that they do NOT like all the Sub-Categorization I created back in 2009 when we rebuilt the forums.

A lot of the guys feels that breaking the sleds up into LOTS of small discreet categories FRACTURES the users apart from each other.

For me, I LIKE having it SUPER ORGANIZED as it makes it easier for me to find threads that are specific to what I am searching for.
But once we segregate all of it apart, the amount of CROSS POLINATION of members with one specific sled drops WAY OFF as they are far less interested in anything that doen't relate to their specific sled.

Right now we have 8 categories.

You're suggesting that we go to 15...????
Polaris has 12 lol, we are at least as worthy as Polaris lol

I think theres one thread on the blast, and a couple on the riot, do they really need their own sub?

From AC website

Mid-Sized Snowmobiles

The next big thing is just the right size.

This isn’t just a new Arctic Cat®. It’s a whole new sled altogether. Combining a lighter, mid-sized frame with a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio, BLAST™ offers easier handling and more responsive performance. And an industry-first 400 single-cylinder EFI 2-stroke engine means you’re always packing plenty of muscle. With mountain, trail and sport utility models, this lighter weight heavy hitter is ready to go wherever you ride.

Polaris also has consistently 2-3x more active viewers at a given time
and? what does that have to do with sled subforums for different models? Polaris Axys and Axys 850 are the same base model but each has its own forum?

Boohoo, there is no forum title for my 2020 Cat. Please make a special sub forum just cuz I’m special. I have to go now, my Mom is calling me for lunch. Bahahahahahaha

simple is better.....when i sit down to read forums i kind of enjoy reading about different problems within the cat mountain segment even if it might not apply to my exact problem....i think because i review threads to see what might be coming up for a problem i should be looking out for, rather than searching for a problem i already have

looks good to me. blast will need its own category for sure. How about guys with a new mountain max or venom... maybe even throw them in, why not, they are partners after all. will get more looks with the blue in there.
and i think M series still deserves its own, they are way different than any other models. put the 1M with the powder specials on down.
