How many people have blown QD belts?
If you have please explain the circumstances and mileage.

If you have stripped more than 1 please comment on how many and what mileage.

And if you originally voted no failure and experience a failure please comment.

I just voted. 310 miles and missing about 8" of cogs of my QD belt. Bone stock 800 Pro 163" track. Thank heavens for HFRPP tools and a spare belt i had on me. Thanks for setting up the poll!

What happened when it failed?

Was this caused by a on throttle landing or long hill climb? What exactly happened? Were you able to limp home?

Thanks for your input

900 miles is that true? I have 0 miles on no fn snow. where can I go to get some good ridn in?

Yep, I winter in the Snowy's, normally I'd have damn near double that on by now but the snow has been very thin. Believe we're at 44% of normal right now, not good.:face-icon-small-sad

I was carrying a spare belt and the tools. I kept riding. I have about 100 on my new belt now. The second belt seemed to shed a lot more than the first one. No hard landings, just a long pull. But some pretty rough rutted terrain getting up there.

Blew mine at 350 miles in sicamous. Crusty snow and long pulls with lots of traction. I think it's from the top sprocket getting hot. Changed the belt in 25 min with no alignment tools.

broke mine 143 miles all the teeth except 8. had to leave the sled 14 miles in and go get parts. just got home from a sunday ride. i was doing figure 8 in a flat powder field. so much fun until it stopped.
