I am putting a newly rebuilt engine with the pms fix kit on it in my 09 800 dragon. I have a full slp exhaust and a Pcv withy he last dynotech research 162wot map. Does anyone have a map for this set up? I have auto tune but have never used it. Can I start with the map I have and auto tune from there. What should my table look like for my auto tune 13.5 though idle and mid then 12.5 wot. thanks guys

Talked to slp today and they have their map but not with the pms kit. Searched a little more on here and found that diamond Dave is running the same set up with a Pcv and using the same dyno tech map I have. Just need to unplug the power valves and hook them back to the exhaust solenoid.

I am interested in the details of this power valve thing you've mentioned...

I thought I read something about it the other day, so is the idea to disconnect the hoses from the ports on the exhaust valves, but to leave the solenoid plugged in to prevent codes?

I would assume it would prevent the valves from operating which would prevent a lean changeover when they open?

You plug the exhaust valves. Don't just disconnect them

jdetoy-

I have the same sled as you, with fix kit and slp pipe, etc. I am using the slp map and it works great. I fought with flashes from different years as well as different maps and the latest flash for 2010 along with slp map works the best in my sled.

Something to be aware of it depends on what flash of map your are running stock. That completely changes the map.

I'm looking for a map for a high compression head and pipe but I'm running the original (no updated flash) Polaris map from 2009.

I talked to a few people with the setup and they had better luck with the dynotech map with them unplugged.

Took it out this weekend and the sled rips, had to add a gram of weight to the mtx weights. I tried it both ways with the valves plugged and unplugged I could not really tell any difference. When they were plugged and we were on the trail it seemed a little choppy. No bog or det problems very happy with the set up.
