Putting a Camo Extreme on a 2007 600 ???

3.0 7 tooth driver = 6.69
2.86 7 tooth driver = 6.375

If I dif i did this right....assuming the 7 tooth will clear all the other suspension points fine that the 2.86 7 tooth would actually give me more clearance (whish I gather is better :face-icon-small-dis) than the 3.0

I think you will have to drop the frt arm as well..stock drivers have the track pretty close to rubbing on the loops already.....might be able to slide the skid back a little to help that though...as well as the angle of attack...

Only problem i see with that is if I want to go to a tunnel dump exhaust from the turbo. I want to try and make the turbo as quiet as possible.

I am pretty sure if you are doing a bd turbo kit with the bd tunnel dump exhaust it will not work with the fxt drop and roll without modifying the muffler. Mine is already almost hitting the chain case and if it went back at all it would be hitting.

What turbo kit are you putting on? If it's the bd turbo with the mini intercooler it will not fit on your sled. You will have to get rid of your front cooler for the charge tube to clear your head. I know because this happened to me. It's not hard to do, just FYI. Also if you run the stock drivers I think you will have to remove it anyways or the track will hit the cooler. Someone else tried to put the ce 2.5 on there dragon that had the front cooler and he said it was rubbing until they removed the front cooler.

I have a highmark kit. I will build my own exhaust over the summer. What all is involved in removing the front cooler and how much does it affect the cooling capability of the system.

So I have not removed the actual cooler yet. You have to get a new overflow bottle, new thermostat, and a plug for the head. So this is allowing you to disconnect the lines going to the front cooler. So I have done this to allow room for the charge tube. The actual cooler is still in place. When I do a track swap I plan to remove the cooler. When the track is out of the way I think you drill out the rivets remove the cooler and install a block off plate that you get from the 163 because they don't have a cooler.

So, as far as cooling you will be fine. I installed scratchers, and now mine never gets over 125. Before I would get hot running up the trail. So just get scratchers, if you don't have them, and you will run cooler than before, weigh less, and more front track clearance.

so looking at the parts fiche, I would need the coolant bottle, bypass thermostat, aluminum cover and rivets......Will the stock hoses work fine or do I need to change those as well?

I removed mine on my D8, easy to do with the track out. The hoses you have are good, you just remove the 2 that come and go to the cooler

You will not need hoses. You will remove the two hoses going to the cooler. Don't forget the head plug. It's the plug that goes in the mag side of the head where the hose use to plug in.

The 9974M is no longer made. I just got off the phone with tracksusa and they said the 9104 was designed for my sled and should require no modifications. They are sending it out and if there is a problem I can send it back. Worst case is I do a drop and roll and forget about the tunnel dump exhaust or use the 7 tooth avid drivers.

Thanks for the heads up... just checked.... Camplast doen not offer the 9974 since this season started....it was discontinued in my Camoplast catalog since last year.... It is still in the Tracks USA price sheet though which was where I checked.

The 9104 was designed to bolt on to the sled even though the clearance is tight.

That track is a great track and Bruce at TracksUSA makes these things easy.

Your 07 does not have the center driver anyway.

Enjoy your decison... don't overthink it.

Ride hard and have a blast on your trip!

BTW...

What gears do you have in the chaincase?

I think that track is going to work great even though its tight. Turbo will make up for that. You will still have to remove the front cooler. (based on someone else on SW couldn't get it to fit with the cooler in place) You will have to post some pictures up. I am very interested in how you like things. I will be doing it this same mod.....I think.

The track that I really want to see offered for the Polaris is a 15 wide version of the 9065/9066 for the Ski Doos...

The "Challenger Powder Max"... Single Ply, 2.86" pitch, with 2.31" tall lugs...

Awesome track... This would be the best option, IMO, as a bolt on for the Stock Chassis/driver combo in the the IQ & Pro Chassis...Great design that works very well in all conditions... and will have a hair better clearance than the stock 5.1" which does very well in the deep fluff.
