Im no flatlander or hard core turbo guy but i have a m8 turbo that runs real good that helix at a start rate of 44 may be to steep and opening to quick on the take off most turbo set ups are usually a straight cut or a smaller number first like yours should be a 36/44 the 36 keeps your rpms up on your motor untill your engine starts to make power then it can keep up with the shift to the 44 and the turbo keeps it pulling. here i use mds wts and a 36/42 which i like. Somew of what i have found is the diamond drive and clutching bangs on engagement because of that reverse notch its like it back shifts to far when off throttle then has to skip forward to reengage and CLUNK i did away with that reverse helix and now its pretty smooth. Oh and i have advance and retarder for the top as well. I hope im not to far off on what im saying.
