The wet weights for the "Black" and the Polaris Pro Ride are as noted by Skinz when weighing both sleds in their shop.

Is the seat still usable to get you from the good riding to the parking lot at the end of the day or did you find it too low?
Its VERY low and rather, how shall I say this, "Firm" :face-icon-small-hap

But I am sure it would work just fine for short trail rides.
Definitely NOT for cruising though!

Honestly I don't think I'd like a seat that is that low. One of the things I absolutely loved about my sled when I first got it was the tall seat. It makes the transition from sitting to standing very easy. I know these are purpose built sleds, but the low seat is killing me.

And for this old boy, that is THE reason I went with the Skinz Airframe seat.
It makes going from Seated to Standing MUCH easier on me!

Exactly! My dad always teases me about my "paper clip seat" as he calls it. I try to explain that it's actually quite comfortable once you get used to it.

Sitting to standing is a breeze, and my knees don't hurt from sitting anymore. With my old seat me knees were just in an awkward position not 90degrees or 180degrees, but sort of in between. After a day of riding they just plain hurt.

Don't have that problem anymore, wouldn't ever go back from my Skinz seat.

Part of the idea behind the low seat is to make transitioning from side to side easier. For people under 6' tall this can be quite the chore on Nytro with a high rise seat. The other thing to keep in mind is Skinz will put the seat of your choice whether it would be the new Freestyle or the Highrise on any new Black or retrofit Black sled for you.

The new 2011 Black base model is around the $19000 mark. The Black in the pictures we have posted up and the description of modifications made is considered a base model. If you would like to purchase this sled give us a call and we will set it up for you. There are new sleds under going the conversion so you can also pick your colors if you want. Skinz is more than willing to taylor the sled to your needs. If you want a roll over kit you got it, you want boost, no problem, just open your wallet and the sky is the limit.
If you have an older Nytro you want converted the price will vary as they will take care of any maintenance issues that are found when the sled is torn down.

How hard would it be to take that seat or similar and have a pivot point and and adjustable rear support?? :face-icon-small-win You can put my name on the patent. :face-icon-small-hap

Nice looking sled!!

Do you have any literature or anything showing these weights? I know for a fact the Pro isn't 545 wet...Snowmobile Mag says 440 for the regular Polaris RMK this year, not the lighter weight brother which came is around 430...Either way a cool concept and setup, just hard to compare a fully modded and torn down sled to a stock sled with easily the same capabilities out of the box...

The numbers that I posted were what Skinz measured the two sleds at. All fluids were topped off and the sled was hung from their forklift with a "dynamometer" style, digital gauge ( read this as a really accurate fish scale ). The video footage of the weighing is in the full length version of the DVD that will be released shortly. It's what they weighed the sleds at in their shop.

In this pick it looks the the EVOL chamber will hit the main piggy back. I'm sure they are offset...........

The EVOL chambers on the Exol-X shown in these pictures will "pass" each other during the travel of the shock. Their mounting position is rotated in a manner that they will not hit. That said, the EVOL-X will not be a standard offering with this kit, just the Float Evol-R and the Float 2.

How can they do if for such a low price?

At just a hair under $19,000 USD with this list of Extras on it is Amazing!!

With the Canadian exchange rate at $0.94/US dollar...$18,000.00 CDN ... even more impressive!!

Even with Tax and Shipping involved...
I doubt that you could buy the sled and the parts for that. Much less the install, reinforcements, powdercoating and assembly.

I'm really looking fwd to spending some time on this sled this season with the SPG family.

For me the two big things that they tackled with this sled... less rider fatigue and a more intuitive handling feel... make me look at the Nitro in a different light.
