I just wanted to see if anyone has any insight on how hard is the Vipec ecu is to tune? Can this be done by most people or is this for someone with a lot of experience with tuning turbo's?

The Vipec isn't for a beginner, best to call someone who has experience and save yourself and sled the headache. PM and I can give you a number.

Hi Robert,
with every ecu purchase you get 3 hours of support wich is enough to get you going pretty smooth. Most of our dealers (and us) have mapping already for most applications(turbo kit) and those base tune would need just a few changes (fine tuning) to fit a custom application(if thats your case). You can PM me and i will point you in the right direction.

It's definitely not for an absolute beginner to tackle solo, but with guys like Bryce, Cody and Gino to help you, it's a no brainer. Bryce walked me through everything remotely, helped me with initial setup, and showed me how to troubleshoot on my own. I highly, highly recommend the Vipec if you're thinking of going that direction.
