Pro RMK vs 2010 M8

no speaky pounds i weigh more then me for those people that you have to paint the whole picture for them,,,,, nice grammer yourself grammer cop:boink:

Hmm hmmm yep I ride a Ski-don't...hmm hmmmmmyep um hmmmmmm hmmm ya ski doooooo hmm hmmmmmmm....uh huhhhh yep

Thankyou, I thought that was the case between tracks! Other than the weight difference between the sleds. The Cat has a very shallow approach angle and the Pol. looks steeper and more radiused. I bet it helps it climb on top quicker?

Thanks Mike

I noticed that the Pro does get on top of the snow better then the Cat.

I have a new 10 m8 162, just shy of a 100 miles. Have had cats since 05, last year rode a 10 m8 153. Rode with a 163 pro yesterday both clutched about the same but with different results. 2 riders within 5 lbs of each other, similar skill set, 7 out of 10 times the cat would pull the poo on the hill, side by side the cat had a tad bit more speed up the hill. I'm not trolling or picking a fight here, I'm here to say after putting 10-15 miles on the pro I want one. I can do anything on my cat that I could on a pro, but the fun factor of the pro was off the charts. I'm currently working with a couple of dealers on getting out of my sled and into a pro. I would say that most riders compare sleds for point and shoot capabilities, I'm not one of these guys, I go for fun factor. This sled is off the charts. If I don't end up with one in the next couple of weeks I won't ride one till next year, cause it was a drag getting off it and back onto mine. If it holds up Polaris not only raised the bar but they changed the game IMHO. Two thumbs up Poo!

I think what you saw yesterday was the 5.1 poo track in a snow that it doesnt like..I found on my 08 dragon that the 5.1 2 ply was finicky on what types of powder it performed best in...the powerclaw and camo extreme are much less selective..just a hunch but am sure that is part of it...

Me and Chris are not point and shoot guys but I wanted to see how they did side by side up the same hill so before we hit the trees and wore ourselves out we hurried and made these runs. Right now I'm also down loading the tree riding part of our ride on you tube. I don't care for point and shoot but curiosity killed the cat today. And like I stated above there is nothing wrong with Cats I love them sleds very much it's just that in our findings today the Pro was that much better. When it gets done down loading I will post that as well but it doesn't have my sled is better then this sled footage it's just me and Chris out having a damn good time and this is what sledding is about and that is what we accomplished today having a damn good time after all this fresh new untouched snow MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I love boondocking!!!!

I'm not a point and shoot highmarking guy at all. Like Drew said only reason we did that was for comparison for snowest. Soon as that was done we hit the trees! boy it was a blast! I agree too the Pro is just a lot more fun. Can't wait for next year. I still love my m8!

Sorry if I insulted you guys by implying you guys were point and shoot, I was trying say in general there are a lot out there that are, and that is the only way they measure a sled, and by doing so they are missing the real essence of this sled. If you Logan/ Franklin riders ever want another rider I would be all in. Enjoy and be safe, way spooky snow

no offense taken. we just did a comparison like that because a lot of people on snowest always compare like that.. lets go for a ride

its great to see polaris getting good reviews, next yaer it will be cats turn with there 2012 every dog has its day this year poo, next year cat.

their chassis is getting old and they acknowledged it. i think you are right they'll have something new next year, and their engine should be new too. i would think that polaris has an 800 that is new and very powerful as well. the xp chassis is 3 years younger than the m series but wouldn't surprise me if there isn't something new there too. the pro is changing what we want, and march is going to be interesting this year when they release their new stuff.

party on:cheer2:while you can.

next up .... xp :first:vs pro:second:.

you poo guys will be schooled, spanked and sent to the corner.:)

It's funny how two guys come in and give their opinions backed with video and others are tearing it down telling them what happened. I know I'lldoit is a big Doo fan and others are biased but really? One guy posted his AC out did some Pro's on the day he went out. I'll believe him instead of telling him he was 5 lbs lighter that day. Anyway, it's fun to talk about when it doesn't get heated.

Yeah we could swap tracks, motors, shocks, seats and stickers but you have to compare what is on the sled. Any sled is going to be a little better than the next is some aspect of riding because of the setup. Anyway, I will say the Pro does get up on the snow really well and that might be the reason it does so well. Nice of Polaris to put a Holz rear on for me!

Those are sweet videos. Us here in the east can only dream of those conditions. I can not believe there are still nay sayers out there in regards to the Poo. You have 2 guys who ride different sleds and people still do not believe it. I will be the first to admit I thought the 800 Cat motor would be stronger than the Poo 800. The Pro chassis is just an efficient ride.

Again awesome vids I can not wait to ride my Switchback Assualt with the 2 inch paddle.
