Pro 800 motor changes 2012

For 2012 what changes have been made to the cylinder and y pipe? Part numbers have changed for the 2012. Also two cranks for 2012, new updated version and last years crank. Any info MH?

The cylinder has been changed to accommodate the mounting tab for the injector and I think there are 2 crank numbers because of 2 different suppliers.

Thats what I heard as well.......cranks the same just different vendor

Cranks are different... we wont know till someone has both apart on the bench next to each other...

The type 1 rod kits will not fit the type 2 cranks according to Polaris.

From what I hear... the cyls and porting are the same... except for the Injector tabs as said above... I'd like to see some on a bench this season to compare as well.. Hopefully FTX has this info this year.

how come the can @ y pipe show same part # but under it was brought to my attention, under usage thier not interchangeable ???
