Pro 1375 Stroker

Scott, where do you draw the line between impressive and I think I just crapped myself? :face-icon-small-hap Sledstew thanks for the reply. So a guy would have to find an old head somewhere, would fastrax be a good place to start? or do you know of any others? Did fastrax do the case mods for you?

I think that we could build you another identical engine if your real interested ,get ready to shell out some coin. I will be selling this sled by the way once its dialed in. No idea what Im gonna need for it yet.

To be honest I don't think I could afford to have you build me an engine or buy your sled. I'm running two W/C based 1200's now and have most parts I need for a third. I also have two UB 900 cylinders that I have been thinking of using towards a triple, seeing what your doing just kinda gave me a nudge in that direction. If I can find a third cylinder and a head I'd be very happy with a 1350. The 1200's are a ton of fun, I can't imgine what yours will be like, possibly the perfect sled?? Once Scott calms down after the ride maybe he can try to describe it for us.

Started on the pipes today

Started fitting pipes today, quite a bit more work ahead of us on this one. It looks like the stock hood isnt gonna fit but a mesh hood will be fabricated to work just, two pipes exit by the chaincase and one above the primary clutch.More pics to come later.

AWESOME ! that ziptie looks like it might get hot ! can you say three muffpots !

DUDE the drivetrain is so scared it pissed it's self :face-icon-small-sho

either that or it's been eating some arctic cats for breakfast:doh:

Pipe fit

Final weld is monday, everything is tacked together. Next project will be an aluminum airbox that will pull air from behind the steering post.

I have received quite a few questions regarding this build and I will list some of the parts you will need to make it happen:

Power addiction motor plate

2- 70 liter fuel pumps

650 RXL water pump and Power addiction racing mag housing this is the only way it will fit in chassis without grinding the bulkhead

Power addiction racing flywheel hub---or machine your own flywheel with lathe

Jaws Pipes -They built the cones, chambers and head pipes for my engine and we fitted the pipes-roughly 30 hours

Flat slide triple carbs, rounds will be to bulky to fit

Tig weld a cover over jackshaft-used a piece of aluminum pipe and cut it in half

extra cooler under tunnel for cooling capacity

The Mag cylinder is perfectly centered on the center of the bulkhead, the Pto cylinder is inline with the steering shaft which has to be moved over roughly 2 inches.

Need an extra Torque arm on Carb side just like the stock RMK

and the 2 things I have used the most in this project are My Tig and Mig welders along with the lathe, there is no way you could accomplish this project without all three of those tools unless someone else machines for you.

Im leaving out some stuff on here Im sure but this is a list of the expensive parts.Any questions feel free to ask.

Jay there are a few of the 900 ubr engines running around here cheap.. if you are serious I can get you a number of a guy who is parting some out..

Jim

That pro chassis is sooo light I sure hope it holds up to the torque that motor is laying down.. The 1200 literally cracked every edge bulk head it saw..

Sweet!!!

Nice build!!! The fit of the pipes are a definite challenge. You stepped up and showed everyone how to get it done!!! Hope to see a vid with it running. It's gotta be quieter than the dude who posted his with no stingers and the pipes exiting the right side above his knee!!! Its gonna rock!!!

I happened to stop by Jake's place yesterday when he pulled the rope! All's I will say is it will be very interesting!
:D

PS. I have a video but the format does not work on this site
