Premier Polaris moving to Monroe

So I'm guessing he's not on your Christmas card list?

Maybe you could work out a deal with him to take his new stock out on the hill and teach him how to set them up.

It's a win-win
You get to ride nice new sleds and he can get a good set-up!

funny you should mention that. I did offer him to take out his sleds with potential customers and show them the ability of the sled and to make sure the set up was right but after trying to fickduck me a second time I picked up my sled and took it to a real dealer to get it fixed under warranty. The only thing Randy is going to get from me is a mouth full of bad rep. I have had his service manager come up to me and say "I know this isn't right but Randy is making me charge you for something that should be under warranty but we can't figure it out". Nothing a stop payment on a check couldn't solve.

With this economy, no snow, our kind words on the net.....we be lucky if we even have a inventory of parts around here at this rate! lol

No experience with Premier but will vouch for Pierre's and Waldron both facilities have gone out their way for me.

And just think.......

He's gonna be in your back yard!!! LMFAO!!!!

Most dealerships will gladly take their customers out on a ride. Randy when asked about a shop ride said he would have to ask a customer to lead the ride because he wasn't familiar with the areas around here to ride sleds and didn't really want to learn them. He will go on the ride but again you have to stay on the trails because he doesn't like to climb or boondock so when the roads aren't groomed, don't ride with Randy cuz you'll be WHOOPED literally by the time you get back to the snowpark. He knows the area for ATV's if that's what you want. I'm not quite sure why Randy sells snowmobiles if his real interest is the ATVS.

Ive got a great idea...

Why dont YOU go and start a dealership of your own. Then you can have all of the parts for everything, also you can take people up in your spare time and show them how to "mountain" ride. I am sure with your ultimate wisdom and never ending cash supply you will have the perfect dealership that everyone will flock to. In fact im so sure you can do better that I think you'll run all the other dealers out of business. C-mon man, step up to the plate. Or are you all talk, you really cant run a business better than they are already run.

Im not sticking up for Randy or any other dealer. Im sticking up for ALL dealers. Ive filled those shoes and theres not an easy answer.

Now b itch if you want but if you want to impress me. Go out and buy a dealership and make a difference.

just my opinion.

:D:D

If I had "mommies" money i would still have a toy store Mr. smart a$

EXACTLY

....my mommy comment was directed at premier...but hey if the shoe fits.........

i guess i am more conservative at building a buisness....

seems a lot of buisneses are not these days ...

build your client base...take care of your clients...allways be there for your clients....be your clients "go to guy"....and the most important item in mho is

make sure your customers NEVER have a reason to go to a competitor.

pretty simple chit imo

Well said Blindman

Even if the dealer does NOT have what I'm looking for I will still order through him if....

Ne makes me KNOW that i am important to him.
He never lies to me.
He doesn't just make up stupid chit on the fly if he doesn't know the answer.
He doesn't try to use pressure to get me to buy something.
He doesn't allow ignorant people to answer his phones.
He doesn't mark up his prices unfairly (Uncompetitive).

Basic respect goes a long way.
I will continue to buy my "Extras" at Smokey Point Cycle Barn because they have earned my loyalty even though they do not sell my preferred brand of sled.
For my sled I will go to I-90.

I will re-ask what was said above. Are you sure that you don't have a dog in this fight? You sure spend a lot of time on this thread for a passer by. Just throwing this out there, so the Ford owner across the street should not sell a Focus because he drives a F350(just and example). Saying that Randy shouldn't sell sleds because he prefers ATV's is ridiculous.

You know something SSS rider?
I'm hoping when you read this back to yourself when you're sober you'll realize what a stupid comment it is.

The guy might not be able to ride a sled worth cr@p and isn't into sleds other than to sell...So what.
As long as he is honest and doesn't try to BS you about his abilities or sledding experiences...WHO CARES.
It's a business and the bad businesses will be out of business shortly if they don't tend to their customer's needs.

If I had the place I'd be selling sleds primarily because that's what I know.
Are you saying I shouldn't sell ATVs because I don't like them as much?
Your argument doesn't hold water.

I gotta agree with Big red on something here...
You seem awfully interested in making sure this Randy guy loses his azz with his business.
There has to be more history than just a bad experience as a customer because we've all had bad experiences and didn't feel the need to try to destroy a man's livelihood.
So what is it...Really, Come clean.

I'll go make some popcorn.
