if i deserve it ,,,,then i should get run out of town...

in my office i have letters and even a couple of award placks from my customers...i am HIGHLY THOUGHT OF IN MY INDUSTRY
have found it pretty easy to have a good buisness when you go above and beyond what your customer is expecting. just like you DD

DD you know if one of the shades i put in your shop was ****ed up i would take care of it immediatly........as do all my customers.

sometimes i make good money....sometimes so so...sometimes the customer is unreasonable and i lose money.... but i ALLWAYS treat everyone as i would want to be treated!!!

i can see who else for the mostpart does this on snowest...good to go...h20ske..yammadog . .slp..sowjw..these are just the some of the ones i know or have dealt with ..etc...not to hard to see who the good guys are on here with their customers...but man premiere???? cmon

That's funny. You told someone else to get their facts straight and keep their negative opinions to themselves, but then you slam Pierre's based on the ONE TIME that you were there and there were no salesmen clamoring around you withing 10 seconds after walking in the door? Just curious, what were you "not impressed" about with their shop or their mechanics? Did you get any mechanical work done there, or were you just not happy that the mechanics didn't drop what they were doing and put their salesmen hats on? Personally, I don't like salesmen clamoring around me as soon as I walk into the door of a place. If I need any help, I know how to ask.

So far in my dealings with Pierre's, I have found them to be extremely knowledgeable (most important thing for me), and great people to deal with. I could understand you slamming them if you had a bad experience with them, but slamming them because you weren't greeted by a salesman soon enough? Wow... I mean... just... WOW.
First impressions make all the difference in the world to me. I just dont take someones word that a dealer/salesman/mechanic is top notch or one of the best. I find out for myself. Yes after browsing the sales floor, i approached the parts counter and stood there for a couple of minutes with the intention of asking how much a WE shock revalve would cost me. Yes a mechanic dropped his tools while working on a sled and walked over to the counter with the " what the hell did you interupt my work for " look on his face. Yes he answered my question rather bluntly and then went back to his wrenching duties. That right there was a turn off and the deal breaker. I figured i wasnt important enough so they wont get my biz.

I would not take my sled to them for any kind of service on something that I would be afraid to tackle myself.
They are VERY nice people but for any real expertize on sleds, I will go to their sister dealer-- I-90 in Issaquah.

Ride is a Bike store that sells sleds too.
Not that it is a bad thing, it just is.

Actually RIDE does sell quite a bit of doo stuff and they did a great job doing some warranty work on my XP. The manager I believe does ride a pretty sick XP and some of the other guys I have talked to in there ride sleds as well. Not sure how I-90 is much different, their main business is bikes too.

I guess my opinion of Ride is a little tainted.
I was looking for a sled for my wife.
I was pretty explicit on what I wanted for her and Ride just basically blew me off and tried to sell me a sled that I didn't want and when I explained that I did not want a brand new 800 for my wife (Because she did not want an 800) they tried to shame me into forcing my wife to step up to it...seriously:mad:
They wanted $2000 more than I was going to spend that day for a sled my wife didn't want.
Then they told me "Good luck finding it" sarcastically.
I was looking for a year old hold-over 600 SDI 144"...Exactly what the wife wanted.

I ended up calling I-90 and they had the exact one there for the money I was willing to pay and took great care of my wife.
They didn't even really make the deal with me, they made my wife feel great by dealing solely with her.
Doesn't Ride know I-90's inventory?
They're owned by the same person.
I know this was mainly just one sales person who wrecked my wife's experience with Ride but that was all it took.

Ride had ONE rack of sled accessories, mostly Yamaha very limited clothing that was WAY more expensive than Smokey point CB for the exact same stuff.

I have bought DOO stuff from Ride...had to order it, took a month to get a skid plate set. I could have bought it on-line for less and got it quicker but I was trying to help support the local boys.

I've heard many great things about Remko and the other DOO mechs they have there at I-90 and have been contacted by Remko to take care of a small (ish) issue that I mentioned my wifes sled was having in a post on this 4M without even calling them. He initiated the contact.

That's an example of great customer service.:beer;

Sorry so long winded.

I love all you people that demand that negetive comments be left unsaid...

Fantasy Island doesn't exist. Get a hold of yourself... they're just words. You can handle it....

I don't have a problem with negative comments or reputation points if I actually have a reason to get them. But by just asking a simple question shouldn't warrant that.

No negative comments should be left unsaid..... that leads to stress in your life and then you don't enjoy the snow that we don't have right now.....

I would like to say thank you to those of you who support any of the Polaris Dealers and even the other brands. This day and age of business it is hard to always hit the home run with everyone regarding, price, service, value and a sense of walking away feeling that you have made the best deal you can. Knowing and working with a dealership is like a marriage. The majority of the time life is good and sometimes no matter what you do it can be difficult and trying. We are all human and we do have some days that we just are not on our best game. I hope that they enjoy their new location and that the additional space will help them in their pursuit for success, improvement and customer satisfaction.

I read through this thread and do appreciate the supporting comments and even the ones that provide criticism as they are things that we as a dealer need to work on. While we try to stock as many parts as we can it is hard to find the balance that can take care of everyone’s needs. I know we can as a rule get you what you need or want within 3 days as we do order parts on a regular basis. For those of you that have been here you have seen that we are a shop that has a show room rather than a show room with a service area. Being a small business we all wear the same hats and try to meet everyone’s needs that walk through the door in a timely manner. Sometimes we are not able to get off the phone or get to someone as quickly as we like. It doesn’t mean that your not important it is because we just don’t have the resources to handle everyone when it gets to be the busy season. We do have over 80 years of snowmobile experience here and are confident that we have the knowledge and experience to take care of all your needs. The bottom line is we are a little more expensive than most yes but that is what it takes to have the parts you want and the experience that is proven by the performance of our products. We believe that is the value in what we provide to you our customers. If anyone wishes to share with me your positive or negative experiences please feel free to contact me directly via my e-mail mike.pierrespolaris@verizon.net or cell phone 425-327-9394. The most important thing to me is that. What ever you ride or buy do it because life is to short to sweat the stupid stuff! Be it a Polaris, Ski-Doo, Yamaha, or Cat ride what makes you happy.

I live in Monroe and there is no way in he!! I would buy from Premier.
Screw me once, shame on you , screw me twice shame on me , screw me a third time and I'm a bigger Idiot than you. Randy forces his mechanics to do under handed work. He Is a used car salesman slim ball. If I ever run into him on the hill I will tell him what a pile of dog crap he is. The only problem with his riding is he only rides on the groomed trails with his fat azz stuck to the seat. He wouldn't and couldn't take a mountain sled out and push it to its limit to see if it is set up right.

My two cents

Just like any business you can't please everyone and of course being the owner of a business everything falls back on you if something goes wrong.
Most People don't start a business to screw you over especially with the amount of money they need to fork out.
Just keep plugging away and if the business is that bad they should be out of business in there first 3 years and after that they must be doing something good for some people because there still there!:o

So I'm guessing he's not on your Christmas card list? :D

Maybe you could work out a deal with him to take his new stock out on the hill and teach him how to set them up.

It's a win-win
You get to ride nice new sleds and he can get a good set-up!:D
