Premier Polaris moving to Monroe

Good for Randy. He needs to get out from under the Rowley regime! When that dealership opened back in 01 the only property available in Issaqua was Rowley owned. I am sure nothing has changed. I know what he pay's and i can assure you he will be money ahead in monroe.

Good luck Randy.

I've done that been told they have the part in stock to get there and they don't.

i am glad to hear i am not the only one that is victim to this. must run in the family of polaris dealerships because its also happened to me a few times with enumclaw suzuki/polaris. i order all my parts online now for the most part.

Ive been ordering mine online ever since i was Premier Polaris and i didnt have any parts in stock!:face-icon-small-win:D LOL!

Better deals and you can usually get the parts faster than a dealer ordering it. Besides you never have to leave your easy chair!

also fyi if your near a cycle gear store they can pretty much get anything you want for a snowmobile that isnt oem. the advantage to this is since they are a chain they have a much lower minimum dollar limit when it comes to putting orders through. for most dealerships its around $500-1000 and for them its around $50 so they can put orders in quicker. I was told 1-2 days from ordering by the manager/owner or whatever. just some info otherwise keep ordering online.

I beleive minimum orders to be around $100 through the dealer. I could be wrong but........

I have actually gotten great service from several online stores and my good pal Michelle down in OR. She takes such good care of me!:D

Since Brady left there, my sleds go to Pierres for service and I just order my clothes directly from Polaris. No one in the dealership even rides a snowmobile.

So your basing your experiance on a three week employment record of Brady? WOW! I happen to know Brady quite well and i can assure you that even Brady cant have all the parts all the time.

Not defending Randy but dont use Brady as a tool.

A little input for those that need a reminder about how a business is run. And it doesn't matter which thread this apply's to; which business.

Brick and morter stores cost more to run than internet business's. So with that in mind, here's a little store with 'x' amount of dollars in the bank. They can buy a certain amount of stock, keeping in mind that they need to meet payroll, taxes, rent, etc, in the meantime, while hoping that their 'stock' turns so that they can make a little profit and turn around and buy more stock. Great concept. We call it risk.

Then comes along the customer who finds a better deal through some faceless web site. Saves some money by ordering his parts. Not a big deal, but lots of people do it. The little local business isn't selling as much as they need to keep the cycle going. Time to tighten up the stock on the shelves. Imagine what occurs next...

Not bashing those that sell on the net... lot's of us do. But our choices have consequences... Fact, the more parts one moves, the more stock they'll keep on hand.

And Ice Cap nailed it grasshoppers; use the phone. If you're willing to spend the effort to order online, why not spend the effort to call and order from your local dealer...?

I have one probem about calling 1st: I have a large collection of motorcycles and spend a lot of time at a dealer in the Seattle area ordering parts. Here's what I see:

Parts guys answers phone and sez: "Can you hold please?" Puts the phone on hold and then jokes with his fellow employees on how long this sucker will sit there till he/she hangs up.......Had it happen to me and I do hang up.......

So, if I go to the dealer, I stand in line, get told they don't have the part, need to order and come back to stand in line again to get it.........OR, I can watch the news with a laptop and order online, saving my gas and travel time.....It's a no-brainer.......

I don't know squat about the history behind this Polaris Dealer but I do know Monroe.
We have a Yamaha dealer in town, a Cat dealer too. Used to have a place called "High gear motorsports too (they were an aftermarket dealer not a franchise and they seemed like they'd make it....they didn't.)
Anybody buy any sleds from them?...Either place? Ever heard of them?
The problem is that the immediate local economy is, for the most part, pretty repressed.
Not too many businesses thrive out here at all.

I used to go to the Cat dealer for oil (BM) and other incidentals (I try to keep my money local) but now their prices are so much higher than just about anywhere else on the dusty gallons of un-sold oil on the shelves I go elsewhere.
They're not making many sales, it seems, so they're jacking up their prices on the things they do have in stock to try to make up for it which of course will cause even less sales.

I wish the new dealer well and I hope, for my sake they decide to sell Doo's out here so I don't have to drive so far for parts.
That would be sweet. No real Doo dealer for many miles. (I-90)

more customers...lmao

From what I hear there are more customers up that way than down here and cheaper space too

i guess us2 is gettin close to i90 in traffic volume.....lmao

wonder what the per houshold income is compared to issaquah...sammamish..lmao

From what I hear there are more customers up that way than down here and cheaper space too

maybe uninformed customers....lol

may premier get what they deserve....

i HATE NON STOCKING DEALERS

just my opinion

No apology needed... I really was speaking in general terms. Often these threads go off on a tangent, with peeps bi!ching 'cause it's easy without any knowledge of why things might be the way they are. You're gripes are well articulated and a bit more in depth than most. The "I went to the store once and they didn't have my size girdle, there for they always suck" get's a little tiring.

Now, if I was the sensitive type, I might think differently...:p

On a personal note...I bought my sled at Pierres 3 years ago. The set-up they did with SLP I ordered was crappy. They do not give you a price break...have got other complaints from other sledders about Pierres.I live in Seattle and do business with Premier. When they go to Monroe, that's where I will do my business!! Note that this is just a personal experiance I've had at Kenmore. They don't seem real customer orientated.
