Power Valves from a ski-doo

So i know that you can buy the power valves from supreme tools which are the same as the power valves from a ski-doo motor. So could one just buy some from a ski-doo motor and put them on an m1000? I imagine you would have to get the diode or whatever the little chip is that supreme tools gives you as well, but would there be anything else needed?

Thanks in advance

The dealer over here said there is a lot more work to it----they take Arctic Cat valves and machine new ends on them. $480 still seems too high but what do you do?

Thanks for the insight. I've never seen the supreme tools in person so i don't know if they are machinee or not. I guess i'll see if i can get a ski-doo valve and see how it matches up to the stock cat valves. If anyone else knows any other info it'd be much appreciated. $480 is alot when i can get some ski-doo ones for about $100

Keep us updated on this. I was thinking of shelling out for the supreme tool stuff as well.

I just put my cat valves back in and have had doo the last 5 years. They are a completely different shape and size. The cat ones seem to be alot wider center of bolt to center of bolt. They must be casting a whole new body and using the doo caps and baffles.

Here's something I'm working on. Need to do adapter for Cat blades and Doo plastic part. Not done yet so can't tell if this works. So far 0$ used :D Rave parts are from old 454 racer.

So I am hoping someone has used these in a turbo application. I cant make my machine run with the stock power valves in. If i unplug the servo motor and use the jumper that comes with the bdx elimination kit, the machine runs good. Just a little lazy on the bottom end. As soon as I plug the servo back in the machine barely runs and loads up with fuel or symptoms like that. Can someone give me any ideas before I shell out the loot for these things.

STM Valves

I have been running them on my M1000 for two seasons and love the STM Valves. The valves are machined stainless and the upper adapter is machined aluminum. The rest of the Valve is OEM Ski doo. I would be careful with trying to retro. If one of those valves does not have the right clearance it's going to cost you allot more then 480$.
