I have been doing some digging and havent found much on this set-up. Looking for opinions from anyone running this set-up currently. Currently have just an HPS can from PAR on the new pro but looking for more zip.

The kit is Brads combo pipe, silencer, head, and PC5. Thanks

I'd like to know too. How much different is the pipe and PC5? I know a lot of ppl have posted on the head/can set up. Is the pipe Brad's design? Or is it just an SLP pipe?

I have to say that kinda sucks.... If you have already purchased the HP can, like I did, last year you're hosed with this pipe. I know that I can always sell the can. But........... :face-icon-small-fro I would like to hear some comp's on the difference between the PAR combo's out there. Looking forward to the posts.

Rookie no reason to be :face-icon-small-fro the pro combo is still the biggest bang for your buck period!! I have had a lot of people that just want more than that. The only way to do it is a full on pipe, and then you have to do something with a fuel controller. Not everyone wants the hassel with the control that is why that pro combo is so great! The pipe is something that me and mike from cpi have been working on for several months now . I feel that from the dyno results that it is pretty darn impressive. We will be shipping pipes very soon as they are still building them. We will be ready for delivery on them within 1-2 weeks . Here are some dyno results for you on every stage of the build from just the head to adding a pc5 to the pipe. We set out to build a pipe that is just awsome. With our head alone you get almost 10-12 hp at 4-6000 rpm more. So that being said we focused on a pipe that would make killer top end. That is what you got 13 hp more at peak rpm.

It would be nice to have Dynotech run this setup to see out it compares to the competition. Jim has tons of data on all of the various pipe manufactures in a controlled environment.

I'm game. Just to bad he is on the other side of the continent it is a long trip for a dyno session for a pipe. I will be heading out there in Feb. with one of my customers to dyno a 1650 maybe we could try it then.

Brad

interesting
those dyno runs indicate that right around 8000 +/- is the zone
same as what others have said with clutching set ups on the snow
i will be keeping that in my mind when dialing mine in
thanks

I find it interesting that your head, and HPS can will make 10+ hp, but a complete pipe/can, head PCV only makes 13 hp? So that's only 3 hp from the pipe. Have you dynoed your head with the slp pipe combo?

also with a quick look i think
if you want to compare to the slp stage 3
once you add intake, reeds, clutching, etc (as a parts to parts com.)
you would be into it about $150-$250 less

Reply looking forward to reading some rider feed back on this set up. In ran a CPI pipe, can, porting on my xp and it was everything that mike promised and more!

My head and can make the the 10-12 hp in the mid range not on the top like the pipe does. Head and silencer good for about 6-8 hp on top so about half what the pipe and head does.

I have not dynoed with the slp pipe myself. I have lots of customers that package that with the slp pipe and it works great! They also build a good pipe to that works with the head.

AH! That makes more sense, very cool, thanks!

Anyone have any seat time on this yet?

Three of them shipped out today contact parkland motorsports in stony plain. He is a dealer and got one of them . He will have it running in the next couple of weeks to come.

just a FYI, my riding buddy has the slp stage 4 deal with the porting,

when sled was stock with a pipe only we ran 66 gram mtx's for 8250

with the stg 4 we are now at 72 gram mtx for 8350 same local same snow

I would not guess what hp gain we had but it really made a night and day difference in the sled..:face-icon-small-coo

I will have my pipe from brad tomorrow, and heading out to togwotee, next week with the pa 13.6 head, v force reeds, no shelf in airbox, high flow intake with pc5, and their map in it. I cant wait to test this setup at 1000ft elevation before I leave with race gas mix. I will try to give feedback as soon as I can. Big thanks to brad for all the help, great guy to deal with.
