I just realized I don't take many pictures of actually snowboarding. I guess we usually film, and I would post some of that, but I don't have any footage on my computer. I took the picture of the slide and the one right before it is what I was looking at before I dropped in and triggered it (February of 2010). The last 2 pics are from May 2010. This was my first season with a sled, definitely learned alot, still have a long ways to go.

that 2nd and 3rd pic with the avy crack look like super fun lines and sick powder..

even towards the end of last season we were lacking in some coverage, trees where there usually isn't trees.

I don't think you snowboarded that day...:boxing:

haha thats right! u were with us that day.. we rallied all day with our boards in the racks.. remember how hard the wind was blowing there? could barely stand up.. that was a fun day of exploring for sure.

Sometimes you're just 'scouting' right? Hard to pass up all that fresh vert with your sled. So sexy sexy. Either way, I'm determined to get back there this year and throw down some board lines for sure.

tudizzle, backcountryforlife sent me a pic yesterday that looks like the same exact zone in that video.. those mountains look super fun for slashing!

Kaleb doesn't ride here but does come down to Crestted Butte every year. Similar high country terrain.

TOps of those hills are 13000 feet...the cabin for rent sits just above 12000 feet......got oxygen????

13k! leaving the pack of smokes in the car that day!! haha..

we r stoked when we get to 6k here in washington.. and i can bring my smokes :)

This was my favorite pic I took last year and the best snoMoBro day I had l last season. Probably had more to do with just how it all went down, randomly running into some familar faces at an unfamilar zone, getting a guided tour by the guy who knows the area inside out, bluebird, ultra light pow, and clocking a good 10k+ of vert. Awesome.

tudizzle - I was wondering if there was good sledding out of Crested Butte. !! Oh eyeahhh there is. Let's see, great mtnbikin in the summer and snow rallying in the winter. Guess I'm gonna have to talk to the wife about a new potential place to move to.
