Post the Non-Ethanol Gas Stations

All sinclairs I have been to are Ethanol Free.
RB's on 500 South in bountiful is now laden with Ethanol.

Effin Ethanol association!!!

Sinclair Oil

Alright ladies and gentlemen, here is the scoop hot off the press. I just talked to an extremely helpful gal in the Sinclair supply dept.
Sinclair no longer operates ANY of their gas stations/convenience stores. As such it is up to the individual owner as to whether they want to go ethanol or not. They are under a legal requirement to display whether or not there is up to 10% of ethanol in the fuel being pumped. She said that is not always the case though. So it would be up to you to ask the individual store that you regularly fuel at whether they do it or not.
That being said, she said that Sinclair and their refinery in N. SLC does not currently have tankage to store and be able to blend ethanol. They are currently building an ethanol storage tank and scheduled completion is Dec. 9th of this year. So this could be changing in the near future to start blending.

Bottom line if you don't see a 10% warning sticker at any station not sinclair you may still want to check to find out whether they are buying blended fuel.
Don't know if that helped or not but she was very nice in explaining it all to me.

Just talked to the owner of Mountain Land One Stop here in Heber and he is ethanol free for now. He said he will continue to run ethanol free as long as he can, but he doesn't know how long that will last. He will let me know when and if they change.

They are located on the corner of 189 and hwy 40.

I fuel in Heber all the time and normally went to Walkers/Texaco (10%). Thanks for tip. Although that station is pretty sketchy. I don't recommend the bathrooms :face-icon-small-sho

so what happens when all gas stations eventually begin to run ethanol??

For now you will just have to start ponying up for some avgas or race to blend yourself. At least until manufacturers find a way to alter their engines to burn it. For some reason I think I recall seeing on a buddies firecat, a switch to change to ethanol settings. Maybe made some changes to the brainbox? Anyone seen that?

EDIT: Just found this.........The switch doesn't change the spark for running higher octane. The switch adds 3% more fuel when switched to Ethanol. It rich-ens up the fuel map to compensate for the Hotter burning oxygenated ethanol fuel. Some guys will tell you the switch retards the timing. False. If the box controlled the timing then why would we need a key to advance it? Right? When you flip the switch to Ethanol the ECU increases the length of the injector pulse.

Arrgghhh Sinclair on 400 North in Bountiful has Ethanol. Exxon-Mobile across the street is still E-Free.

I talked to a local distributer the other day and pretty much by Janruary 2011 we're all screwed. The gas stations don't even want it but are being forced into it. (The American way)

His suggestions:

#1 buy av or race gas, or

#2 be sure to run a high quality fully synthetic oil with e-10 (I suck at explaining things with a keyboard, maybe someone can help elaborate on the oil composition with e-10)

I think i'll go with the race gas and change the head in my sleds. A little extra power would't hurt, and i'll be staging my own little protest by not buying their stupid gas.:face-icon-small-dis That'll teach em.

I checked all over Spanish Fork and wasn't able to find anywhere that sold Ethanol free. I ended up going to orem 1109 north state street Tesoro. If any one knows of any places in south utah county please let me know.
