I have posted this every year for the last few so everyone can post pics of what they see in the backcountry. There has been some great pics the last few years and unfortunately I guess we have to start all over. Please post any avy pics from the past or whatever you see now, avys big or small. I understand there has just been a close call already. Careful all!!! GOT BEACON, SHOVEL, PROBE??? Got BAG???

p.s. just so you know, when we ride, ill be very happy not to see any areas that are even a remote possibility of sliding...

Great pic's folks.. It's a great eye opener that it happens in terrain that YOU ride. I really believe that peeps have that picture in their head of the steep stuff only sliding. Not true. Thanks.

Thanks for posting these pictures guys. Some of my friends have no interest in getting beacons, and other gear, because they think only the real big, steep stuff slides. These are the types of hills we ride on all the time. I will have to show this to them. Maybe this will change thier minds. Jesse.

Daisy slid down next to us last year. Not exactly an extreme slope. Common theme is that they come down on slopes that you do not necessarly expect.

ive seen that hill slide before but not like that, wow!!
it still amazes me the people that think slides dont happen in the big horns
