Poll: Who's NOT Riding Next Season, Due to the Economy?

 Not only am I going to ride this season, I just updated my sled and am now scrolling for a Duramax to buy. Not all of Americas economy is in the craps, ours is rolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllin :p All of my toys will have pressure added to the motor if possible

Will be adding boost to my trusty MC next year, plan on riding it.

It's too bad that when the economy takes a dump, it's only your savings that disappear and not your debts...:(

So if the U.S. has a really weak dollar, does that mean I owe the bank less money :D

We have pretty good economy in Norway, but it's taking a dump right now.

Sled prices is over twice what you pay for them, and fuel prices has ROCKETED to almost $3 USD pr liter (i think it's about the same as $12,8 a gallon), but it still won't stop me from riding. New sled every year, and adding a turbo, even if it means cutting down on alot of stuff. I'm in a job change, where I'll make approx $20000 less a year, but it still won't take ANY sledding away...

Just get used to rising prices, and in a few years you wont even think about it...In my mind, the worst we can do is use our gasoline eating vehicles less? If the greenies see that rising prices makes us use it less, it would mean that tha'ts an argument to rise prices even more...? Less enviromental 'destroyment' due to rising prices says rise it more and the enviroment will be saved?

Sledding is WAY too much of my lifestyle to stop me from doing it, as long as it doesn't affect my family if I continue....

I'll still ride every chance I get, largest expense is going to be towing sleds back and forth between corners of WY to ride Bighorns and at home in SW Wyoming both. Otherwise it's still gonna be go time when fresh snow starts dropping.

I still plan on riding as much as I can here in NY, but the rising fuel cost might cause my Tog trip to be a no go this yr.. Looking out to Feb 09 plane tickets are already double what we paid last yr (800-900/ticket now) then add another 100 bucks roundtrip for bags and im looking at around anothegr 600 bucks or so to tack on to a vacation already costing about 2500 for 6 days of riding....
I wouldnt like it, but could afford it, however it would mean stealing a couple bucks from my house fund not to mention i think itll be a hard sell to get buddies to go along with...

Between buying a house and only riding out west for the past couple years I really doubt I'll be riding this next season which sucks. Sled is up for sale right now and so is my dirt bike. Roommate is moving out so I'll be paying my mortgage by myself. Gonna be a rough winter for this guy...

Why are you talking about next year...we're still riding THIS year!! Rode Friday and Sat, and have a 4th of July ride planned next week!! (sorry to rub it in...;) :beer; )

60+ rides this year, and will be riding next year as much as the snow allows...if its 1/2 as good as this year it will still be stellar.

I'll be riding, but no new sled. Cutting back in a bunch of other areas too. Some summer toys up for sale right now. No more restaurant meals or evenings out. Summer vacation scaled back big time.

I might have to move back to Texas :(

If that happens however, I'm not selling the sleds, I'm just only gonna be able to use them 2 weeks out of every year for the next few years :(

I think most will continue at what evere pace they can , how ever that will become less and less for many as fuel prices kreep it's ever up wards climb. It will be easier on people that make good money but harder on others. Just how it is.

i will never stop riding! its a frikin addiction/religion!(keeps me close to God) and im not ever goin to quit...EVER!!!!!! oh ya...withdrawls are a BI*&^ lol!

i will be riding...hell with the retirement money...ride now and as long as l can throw a rock through a window when im old so the cops will throw me in jail on steak night and world series week my retirement will be sweet...ride now...before we really do have no more fossil fuel

I'll still be riding, but the west trips maybe limited:(, fuel is getting too expensive. We ride as a family and keeping 4 sleds and the truck fueled drains the funds quick.

I'll finally GET to ride more than once a month or so. After 5 yrs in AZ and NM, I'm in the middle of God's Country now. Only real expense will be sled gas (and broken parts!) since I'm now less than an hr away from a dozen or more good riding areas...WooHoooo!:D
Luckily I'll still be paying less than the last several years more money for sled gas, but a lot less in the truck to get there.
