polarized goggles, are they worth the extra $$$

I read somewhere that for riding off trail that polarized goggles are the cats &#@. does any one have any experience with these? are they work the extra money? I can see that the cost about 4-5 times more that regular goggles. do the work that much better? .............thanks!!!!

Not all of them are 4-5 times more than regular goggles.

I hate that!

They are good for fishing etc, but I can do without them for driving. Sledding, they may be pretty good, but normal goggles have always treated me well.
