Polaris is a Sh@# show

If their test riders were not able to quickly identify that the new 8 series track released two years ago would be a ratchet disaster for someone that did even a moderate amount of backcountry riding there isn’t much hope.
The only thing I could think of was Polaris knew but was so late in the process they decided to just address it later. I mean honestly if the test riders didn’t find that flaw through testing why even have them.
Then the fuel pump most riders noticed the whining within a few rides I’m I supposed to believe this never happened on any of the test vehicles?
Polaris doesn’t care. Is anyone else pissed that most dealers have at least a few matryx slash 850 floor models in the show room for sale when most snow checks haven’t been delivered you would think snow checks would be top priority if that alone doesn’t show you how much Polaris cares about their best most loyal customers i don’t know what will.?

Its too bad I like the way the Polaris chassis feels as much as I do. They are certainly making it really frustrating to have them in the trailer (or try and get in the trailer, snowcheck). I would jump to Skidoo (my buddy already has his new ones) in a heartbeat if I felt even remotely comfortable on one. Is it just me or are they completely different? I am 6'6" so maybe that is it? I guess I would get used to it, I have to admit I've only ridden a G4 a couple of times for a couple minutes, but didn't like it at all. I rode an Alpha and it felt way better to me than the G4, but not a fan of that company much at this point. Common Polaris get your together!

It’s their steering. Feels awkward if you aren’t used to it or are coming from Polaris. The sleds also aren’t as direct at holding an edge. Polaris is very lucky their chassis handling is so dialed

Except you can doo post-forward on the Doo and the new Doo Expert ditched the t-motion rear end.

Polaris obviously doesn't give a sh_t about their customers. They are not showing any sense of urgency to get the stop ride parts out to dealers and customers. Their decisions on which models to build first is way out to lunch. Got my boost in February so missed out on the first 4 trips my buddies made and only got in on the last trip of the year. Still waiting for the first three recalls to arrive at my dealer and now this, will even I get to ride my sled this winter with all the recalls done? If you do wait to get all the stop ride recalls done what is the expected date? July 2023??? What are the implications if you don't get any of them done because of lack of parts? No warranty on just those parts or no warranty on the entire sled? Insurance implications? It's almost time that Polaris just gives us the option to return the sled for our money back.

Until skidoo lowers their secondary clutch about 8” they will handle like **** no matter what you do to them. High rotating mass is bad…

I picked up my 23 a few weeks ago. The brake lever has minimal throw, definitely feels different from my 21. Never felt one that tight before.

I can't believe so many of you buy a new one every single year.

If you don't want to deal with recalls and warranty, buy a used sled?

I'd like to buy a cat if they handled better. Skidoo if they weren't so damn heavy.

Polaris gives us what we ask for though, which is the closest thing to a mod sled off the showroom floor.

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Polaris has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in some Model Year 2021-2023 MATRYX, 2015-2022 AXYS, and select Model Year 2013-2014 Trail Performance (Pro-Ride) snowmobiles. This is to inform you that your vehicle may contain a defect that could affect the safety of a person.

The 16 Axys is in there
You missed my point when the 16 Axys came out it didn't have all these recalls and it was all new chassis. Now we have the matrix pile of crap. We're up to 4 recalls so far. So what changed did poo get lucky in 16 or has there sled program changed and there are morons in charge now?

Do lemon laws apply to snowmobiles? I’m pretty sure a vehicle with the same issues as these snowmobiles would qualify. Boost could have up to 5 separate recalls.
Any attorneys on here? I hate frivolous law suits but would a class action lawsuit be possible? We’ve paid for a vehicle which we potentially can’t use as intended.

Are you kidding me another stop ride. Do you have test riders riding this junk before you release it to the public? Some people should be fired for this crap. I really hope Cats new sled works good, I have enough.

I have two 22 matrix sleds with zero miles on them if anyone is interested in some lawn ornaments because that's all there good for.
so you don't want them to fix stuff they discover is wrong with a product

I didnt miss your point!! This recall includes Polaris snowmobiles going back 9 years. !!! You missed the point. Read the the recall.

Hmm, is that maybe pre covid and supply chain issues ? Just curious.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maybe but covid and supply chain has nothing to do with the fact that someone could have woke up this morning and decided to walk into a dealership and purchase the exact same sled I’m waiting for without having ever put down a deposit or pre ordered. In what Polaris fantasy world does that make sense if that isn’t the biggest F you to their most loyal customers I don’t know what is.

did some idiot ride his sled with the parking brake on??? then wanted a new sled because he was a idiot??
