Polaris Footwell toe loop Fix

I took a small auto floor jack and wedged it between the rail and foot loop. Then placed a cut to fit 2x4 under the rail to the floor as I jacked the foot loop up a bit while standing on the sled. Worked great and doesnt seem to be a problem with my klim boots anymore.

Got a picture of how that looks from the side, and also from the back that you could share?

Had a Nevada buddy snap the ball off at the hip a few weeks ago. He is pretty sure his foot got caught in the loop. When he went to look at it the other day it was bent up. Polaris needs to change or eliminate it.

cut them off ... best solution ... easy peasy ....
grinder with aluminium zip disk to remove, aluminium grinding disk to flatten welds, aluminum flap disk to clean up and a small file to deburr.

have been dragged a couple of times and finally had enough - knee is still sore after 6 weeks ...now much easier to bail!

Bending them works well, leaves plenty of room for any size boot to roll out and takes very little time. I was about to cut mine off but tried the bend first and was pleasantly surprised how quick and easy it was. And the loop is still intact and useful if needed. After years of consciously keeping my feet out of there it is so sweet to stuff them forward with no worries!

I was about to cut mine off but tried the bend first and was pleasantly surprised how quick and easy it was. And the loop is still intact and useful if needed. How exactly did you go about bending these up so far without them cracking? Heat them up? Use a jack? I do like having them for a toe hold now and then, but being located so low (stock) is just WRONG!!
