Polaris 900-910 BB Pipes

Hello there.
Any of you who might have any input on what twinpipes that works best in the Polaris based 900-910 big bore motors...I have a 900 Billett Engine Tech motor...thinkin of going over to twin pipes this season.

I've got a set of SLP coated twins on my 910. It runs great 'till it heat soaks, and then it bogs out and falls on its face. I'm thinking of trying a black single pipe and see what happens.

Art Sever told me that the SLP both usual twin pipes and factory racing pipes would be TO hot in my engine and start bogging real bad.

He said to me that I should go for Jaws pipes for his motor.
But I see that Crankshop have 910 pipes for a real good deal.
I am also thinking of maybe using AC KingCat twins?...wondering how that would fit..

I run the SLP 903 motors, using there race twins built for it, GREAT pipes, but my motor is high compression (about 210 hp) never had any issues with the pipes at all, I do know that the single will knock off about 20 hp on my motors, (yes tried them all) The trick is on the "falling over at temp" is to have the ignition curve and jetting spot on, mostly the ignition curve(and thats a bitch to change/get correct as its NOT just the advance but where it comes in ect) The single is much easier to work with, remember it was built for a stock ignition ect.

I would try a set of twins if it were mine, crankshop makes good stuff as does slp.

To bad you dont live next door, we could slap on a set of twins I have layin in the shop and see how they did.

No actually wish I had another set as I dont think i could get SLP to make any more for the 903/910 series...just to few motors out there

800 twin pipes on mine and my buddies' Carl's 910s and they work great at our altitude (7000+). You have to make sure the motor gets PLENTY of fresh air and that you have a good pipe exit deflector.

X2.. On my 910 ( 935 really) Have the SLP twins but also have plenty of air and a front shock tower dump. Works outstanding.

The SLP race pipes have the smaller dia stinger, 29 MM I think. So the pipes would stay responsive for racing. UBR would cut off the the smaller stinger and weld on the 33 mm stinger for their 900.

I did the same thing for my Ruth ported 800 since the race pipes were too tight, ran like a raped ape after that....

Times 2 on what Sled_guy stated. Also had the front dump on my sled and it made a hugh diff. Run the SLP big block 800 pipes with a front dump and get plenty of air to the motor as well as venting. Some guy in Canada did my front dump for the Edge chassis and I don't recall his name/shop now.

I have a set of SLP hand coned twins that I bought years back to try and run on an 06 900 RMK that Id really like to get rid of. Dont know if they are they same as you guys are talking about but thought Id throw it out there.
