Great news they where trying to clean matts mouth and that seem to not make him very happy he then opened his eyes and tried to set up. Please keep the prayers coming. 
As for the people who dont know what happened matt was climbing the big chute in black dog canyon to tackle this chute you have to side hill in the center to turn out the top. matt has tackled this chute more than once conditions were not to bad matt tested the snow as he always does they set up film for 208 productions and up he went, he made it up the narrow part of the chute but while side hilling out, the hill broke off about 500 feet above
roughly about 4 to 5 feet deep then it all happened fast the hill swept matt off a big cliff where he was swept into the trees below and he was buried under about 2 feet of snow everyone with him did a great job they were to matt and had him un buried with in 2 minutes he was then life flighted to boise. matts injuries are believed to be caused by rocks and trees.

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed He was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from His life. For each scene He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonging to Him and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of His life flashed before Him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of His life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of His life.

The LORD replied, my precious, precious child, I Love you and I would never leave you! During your times of trial and suffering when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

More good news they took matt off of oxegen last night and he was able to breath on his own for about 20min but its really hard on his body to keep him that way so he is now back on.but this is a great sighn he still has no movement on his left side, they did another cat scan and came up with no reason for him to not move. Keep the prayers coming he has still not gained consciousness. Thanks again Jon Potratz

that's bad.... but good that he's alive.
lets hope and pray for a quick recovery.

Hey Jon thanks for the updates! That's awesome that he was able to breathe on his own for awhile. Tell the fam hi and let them know that we are all thinking about them. I know you guys have had a million offers but if there is anything we can do up here let us know. take care "Keep up the fight Matt!"
