sleds running good,reset eboost parameters and lengthened arm on wastegate,little bit of clutching to do and it'll rock.Not really enough snow in Valemount to work the sh#! out of it.Ran ok though pulled hard.Gonna take a little getting used to though.
I'm glad that in Alaska you never get yourself into a bind you have to back out of.Reverse isn't just for backing out of the trailer.
P.S my rer worked flawlessly but I wouldn't want to get far from the trailer with a 260hp ski doo.

I had the foot well issue for a little bit, till I beat the foot well out so it wouldn't hit. The gear box still has a bind, and like others have said rocking the sled back and forth a little helps. I normally only have the issue when I pull up a hill and then try and hit reverse to back down and turn around. Also what helps is to give it gas to get it to move, and then hold the brake, though normally it just takes a little movement to find the sweet spot. On flat ground I normally don't have any issues.

Though once I did get the reeeerrrrrrr clunk... yah, that is how you get from reverse to forward quickly... though at least it wasn't expensively... yet...

Push button was nice on the 2-strokes, but this is the best we got for now.... Until my hover sled gets here... :beer;

One thing though, I am not sure on the poor design, especially the handle... Seems to me that the reverse is a go - no go situation. It is not a matter of leverage, but getting the load off of the system. If you have to crank on the handle to try and get it in reverse, you have way too much load on it. If the handle was two feet long, people would be complaining that they were bending linkages too... Sometimes a little finesse is best.. that and giving it a couple of kicks and a body slam instead of reefing on the lever helps too... :beer;

an old arcticcat back when it was a new sled a 550 or 580 or something this guy could never stick it in reverse with out screwing around for a while at this time every one was like why would you want reverse, so they took it completely apart checked made sure everything was to spec then reassembled it was still acting up. then some one came up with the idea of taking just a bit of belt tension off the clutch and to everyones amazement he never had a problem after that i dont know if it will work on these yamahas but some one should give it a try i never thought the tension off the belt would effect it at all but it was enough to make it a hassle getting in reverse.

easy fix ~ turn off the sled, put in reverse, turn on sled - bam! done! :)

or go back to the old school of doing things - dig, lift, slide ~ repeat these steps until you have your sled in the direction that you want it. :D
