Picture Capture from Movie

I have downloaded a couple of videos, and only want a few screen captures from the movies. What is the best way to get the best picture. I know I can stop the movie and print the screen into word, but I end up with the whole scren capture. Is there a way to just grab the picture I want......?

Try this....

Note that the resolution of the movie clip if wide screen will be 720x480.... not too good for a large size print

Can't you just play the DVD, press the "PrtScn" key on your keyboard, open a graphics program like paint shop pro (or a similar program), paste the captured image, select the part of the image that you want, copy it and paste it as a new image. Re-save it and use it.

In windows just open them in the movie maker program and use the snapshot button.
