Whats All the hype with betterboards and airframes ? I'm a new pro owner and I'm just wondering why lots of you are changing the stock boards? What's wrong with them ? Do they build up with snow ? Bend ?

Theres always something better and the stock boards dont cleanout as good as you would think and when you kick the snow the cutouts tend to bend on my 2011

I've just heard amazing things about the airframes and after seeing two of my friends bend or break their assault running boards last year I thought I'm just gonna get some airframes and throw them on. Thanks TGitt helped a lot with the instal process. He did all the cutting.

I had 2 m8's. my dad used to ride but can't anymore. But we got rid of our m8's(still trying to sell one) and got 2. One is the "back up" or gf, or family members sled. Just threw on the RSI bars tonight and they feel great. I'm almost done with them. Soon as my skis get here they'll be ready for the snow! I will make sure to post pics.

Yeah wood burning stove. Throw some wood on the fire and you can work all day in there with just a t-shirt. But by morning, its cold again... Hopefully we'll have it insulated and sheetrocked by next winter.

Any heat is better than no heat!!!

Call Northstar in Preston, ID they have airframes in STOCK. I believe they have red, orange, or white boards

Are the rivets going to rub the track edge???

You can see where the boards bolt onto the sub frame on the right, The left side rivets to the tunnel and the foot well rivets to the front tube.
