TGitt helped me out a lot last night and we were able to install the airframes. Still have to finish bolting on the other sled and putting all the traction studs. Should be done tomorrow. Sorry for the poor pics they are just off my cell phone. Tomorrow I will take more pictures and with a better camera.

These are my first set of airframes and by doing some garage boondocking I think I'm going to love them and they'll live up to all they hype they get

Got Better Boards on my Pro and haven't ridden it yet. The boards feel a little flimsy and if they are I will be running these myself. Were they a bugger to install?

After waiting months and months for Airframes, I finally bought these! Very happy with them so far, It's nice that my boots actually fit on the running boards now.

Can you guys both post pics of how the running boards attach in the front?

Interested in both the Dismond S front mount and the Airframe front mount.

Thanks.

They bolt on front and rear, right where the factory aluminum bars was.

The metal looks flimsey to me. It looks like I could give it a good stomp and bend the cleats.
I would think they would have used thicker metal.

If you had a set in your hands, you'd be thinking a little differently! These boards are pretty bomber, pics don't do them any justice.

For your sake I hope so. I see that the cleat is in a "V" which should add some structural strength, but they (the cleats) still look like something that need more support not to bend under stress. I could be wrong... just the way it looks.

That's the beauty of the Internet! Diamond s has been building these boards for over 10 years on custom tube chassis sleds. I'm sure they would have changed the design if it didn't work.

I'll post pics tomOrrow. They are very sturdy. I don't think I'll ever be able to have a sled without them. I can already tell they'll be worth the money and all the hype they get

What's the deal at the rear tunnel support where it looks like the board metal is flat and goes over the support without a notch? Am I seeing this correctly?

Are those all aluminum? Do you know what gauge the cleats are? They look purty light in your pic

can both of you guys post the width of the running boards from tunnel to outer edge? My issue is my size 13 with klim boots does not fit on stock boards, and I want to know how much wider they are.
