I haven't had a lowpro but I've checked them out.. Definitely not made for serious off "road" abuse. I'd check out the dakines or what HardKore is talking about sounds good to although I had a trouble navigating the web site. Very odd UI.

Ya kata`s site does take a little getting used to and can be slow at times. I just open up all families and look them that way. Remember if you see one you like search youtube for it.9 times out of 10 someone has a video hands on review. Plus kata also have video and pics of most bags in use and show some different configurations.

I have used my bags in all weather and never had a problem plus they come with a weather wrap for extra protection.
