Rode with akhunter75, aksnowrider and sleazo yesterday (11/16) Great ride guys!! glad you could make it! first off.....sorry for, forgetting my sled key.. but what bum luck was that running into you on that swamp! lol. Im just glad I remembered about it while we stopped in Wasilla and not there! Hope that knee is better, Steve! ouchy.

second....... snow sucks dont ride there....... lol Nah, its worth the trip! found some untouched places that were good for some nice deep carving! needs about a couple feet more on the swamps but, t'was snowing all day and when we left.

third.....AK737, was nice to meet you!

Was a nice birthday ride for sure and I am SO OUT OF SHAPE!

I like the idea of one continuous thread for each riding area instead of ten different ones for each weekend and the "anyone wanna go?" type of threads... can we please keep this one going?

We rode Pville for our 5th time so far this year and honestly we don't care to see the road from Kroto to the Forks EVER again LOL The swamps are starting to get some decent pow and we had fun boondocking ~ hard to see above the treeline Sunday so we kept low. Peters Creek itself still has a lot of sketchy spots so we didn't get to go where we really wanted to go. Might try 127 again soon and see if we can get in from the back side of the Dutch Hills.

Went in from Kroto lot on saturday. Of course the trail sucked and we got off it as soon as we could. But, we found some pretty good swamp powder on the way to the hills and had a blast defiling it, so that made the trail ride worth it. Light was flat and it was snowing when we got to the hills, so it was back to the swamps and out.

By the way... If we're going to make this the official Petersville snow conditions thread, maybe someone can fix the typo in the thread title. It would make it easier to search for.

Rode saturday, ducked off into the swamps 1st change we could get toward Kenny Creek Lodge, worked out way to the hills. Found alot of good pow in the meadows and close to trees, 2ft + in some spots. Light got good for about 30 minutes when we were around the deep creek area. Made it out to the foothills, and light went real bad so we worked our way back.

Had about all of that trail I need for this year. Found out how bad a toe in problem on rev's makes then uncontollable in the bumps......

no breakage, I picked the sled up used this year. Swapped to Slydogs..... I was unaware I had a ski alignment problem. Of course you find out quick on the bomb hole trail at Pville after being thrown from the ride its not right. Its fixed now

AkREV151 next week is Cantwell no matter what. Its the first TREEHUGGER party of the year. Just no puking in the camper hang it out the door its not like the wall tent.

Cold! -18F in Willow, plus 15F at Kroto.
