Peaks Track

Rode with a friend that had one on a 154 XP. I would say there is absolutely no downside to it in all snow conditions. Was able to compare it to my 2.5 camo extreme and I would switch in a heart beat.

Of all the people I know that had it hated it. There is no track better than the Challenger Extreme, IMO.

I never got a chance to run mine in pow this year but as far as spring snow goes i don't think you could beat this track. had it on my bone stock pro 163 and in an up hill drag against a stage 2 pro w/ the stock track i could get him by 15-20 sled lengths every time

This track takes more miles/time to break-in, Ive heard around 500 miles. So I'm curious how long those that "hated" it actually used it.

I have one, but only have about 350 miles on it. It does trench a bit while breaking in due to the paddles being a bit stiff, but from what I've heard the paddles soften up and the track starts performing better.

So far I like this track and I'm curious how much better it'll get once I have more miles on it.

I also believe that you can not please everyone, some one will always find something to complain about.

Well, I know that VOHK took his off, and a few others didn't get 200 on the track before it came apart so........

I know that my Extreme works awesome. Most of my riding crew have it now and it's a mix of stock and boosted sleds. That track under 12psi on my XP 154 is amazing.

Forgot to mention the bonus of the Peak track, the roost it throws.

The bonus is, you're not going to get rear-ended by some one that's following to close or not paying attention.

Why would anyone spend $900 on a track that "works great on hardpack"??? This peak track sounds like another over-hyped experiment by camoplast just like the maverick. I wish they would make start making the old style CE 2.5 again

For one they are not $900. Second not everywhere gets dry powder snow like you do inland at altitude. I live at sea level on the coast and the moisture content of our snow is very high, gets icy crust layers between storms. So yes the old finger tracks and the new Peak track works much better than any versions of the CE. Just my two cents, just because it works for where you ride doesn't make it the right or only choice for others. That mindset would still have us on springers with bogey rear suspensions.
