Peaks track..

I put one on my stock 2012. The 163" is 7lbs heavier then the stock track. It definitely has more traction. You can feel it in your arms and it transfers a lot more. I will not be putting one on my turbo pro because i think it would be hard to handle and control the transfer. I also geared down to a 19/43 gear set with the heavy peak track.

my findings sre the same it has lots of traction, and braking is awesome also, ill have more reports this week as im heading riding for a few days with a couple of stockers to compare against...

Top notch track... IMO... run it with the chaincase mod and the 7 tooth drivers for more power to the track.

This track IS heavier, but worth the weight IMO.

As for the transfer... that may be related to more drag from more snow and less clearance in the tunnel.

Check out Skadi's build in the "members build" area.

FTX has a very reasonable price on the chaincase mod for the 7 tooth drivers on an exchange basis.

It will be interesting to hear your opinion of how it works compared to your 174 as well boondocking wise

What were the snow conditions like? I hear its good in bottom less snow. Not sure if its to soft for set up snow and will fold over.

stock drivers? Chain case mod?

No chaincase mod, extravert drivers, used it in soft and setup snow with good results in both, trust me it works well!! Wish I had my video of a rooster tail 40ft long and 8 feet high.

The paddles softened up drastically from when it was new, they fold over nicely for bottomless snow but at the same time it hooks up on hardpack.
