Anyone has a working perhaps Autotune PCV-map for Polaris 800CFI April flash? DTR has only for Jan-flash...

Jim at dynotech sent me one for the April flash. titled the "norm" map. did you talk to him or just look at the site. if you just looked at the site, give him a call. he has one. been running it on my 2010 and hasn't missed a beat yet. couldn't be happier with the beast! FINALLY!!!!:face-icon-small-hap

Does anyone konw what flash the 2010's came from factory? i had it at the dealer and the service manager told me they did not touch any 2010's as far as recall flashes etc. i then asked him if he could check what flash is on there and he gave me one of these
Him:"what flash did you want on there? January?
me:"ya"
Him: " o ya its the january flash on there"
so anyone who knows for sure what flash these 2010's came with from factory would be alot of help!
im running the stoutner map assuming i have the JAN flash.
But am intrested to see if the April Map is what i need for my PCV.

Well the smart *** answer is they came with the original 2010 flash. So if yours has not been flashed then it wouldn't have the Jan flash. The april flash is the best one yet for mid range fueling imo.

hmm, guess my PCV aint doing its job to its fullest :P
Gonna get the dealer to put the JAN14 flash on there.
as im running the stoutner map built on the JAN14 flash.
it is the "JAN14" flash correct?

Is there a way to tell what flash a sled has using the vin or does it have to be hooked up to a computer?

Curious as to which flash mine has, just picked up a new holdover '10. Asked dealer he said "the latest one, we just pdi'd it.."
But then again he may not have a clue and it has the one it left the factory with? Be handy to tell, but guessing the only way to know is to have the sled hooked to their diagnostic 'puter..

I believe anything still at the dealer should be coming with the April flash. If you have the dealer run the vin # through the system they will be able to tell you what version you have. The guys on HCS are raving about the April flash.

I haven't been able to tune the stumble out of my mid-range w/ my PCV and I don't have $200 to drop on the auto tune so mine is headed to the dealer today.

The stoutner map built on the JAN14 flash and the April flash are the same. Compared them the other night.

not that I know of, unless they wrote it down on something. Dealer uses a software tool called Digital Wrench that reads out the Firmware version or Flash. If it has been updated somewhere it should be in the system under your VIN, but I dont know if I would trust that..I have seen some sleds that just wont take a flash due to ECU issues. It is supposed to be verified after dwnloading the software but we all know how that goes..It would be hard to not see that it didnt happen but it has occured.

JKinzer would be better versed in Digital wrench/Polaris flash reading questions.
