PCC?

If you can afford to drop $650 for it, go for it. Sorry, but for me, 650 - 700 is going to buy me an avy pack.

the first thing that comes to my mind is that your clutch will also have to be rebalanced with this in place, bringing the total cost of this mod up to what? $1000?

Nope we balance the clutch for free if you buy a cover. It includes the 6 titanium cover bolts as well in the $650.00 price. This can be used from sled to sled year to year if you get new sleds. Fits any year P85. We have also found that your clutch parts seem to last alot longer, weight bushings, roller bushings, and cover bushings as well as a better performing clutch that revs faster every time you squeeze the throttle.

oh ok I must have missed that when I read through the info on the link.

I like the idea, less rotating mass right at the clutch. unfortunately for me the first mod I'll be purchasing in that price range will be exhaust :)

Curious how you can take weight off the cover and not have to add it to the weights(cams)?

?? the clutch cover is not involved in transferring power. appropriate clutch weight is determined by torque and hp of the motor

THANKS TJ

Thanks for the info TJ. As stated in previous post, the cover won't change the power output, but it is going to reduce rotational mass for quicker revs and less flex on the towers, rollers, weights etc....plus it looks killer!

I will tommarrow, only thing I noticed is the spring fits tight over the collar on the cover its not loose like the stocker. I think it's like this so it doesn't wear into the carbon fiber. Ride report is tommarrow.

awesome!

I absolutely love mine! Hats off to TJ for an awesome product! '13 155 4000-6000 ft. I ended up with the carbon cover/Ti bolts (balanced upon install), neutral adjuster, 10-64's, thunder products glide washers, tied secondary with 75/57 cam and wow what a difference over a stocker! I was riding with a '13 163 bone stock last weekend and multiple times we switched machines. I could not believe the difference in throttle response, backshift, and accelleration! After we all confirmed how big of a difference it really was, we lined up and drag raced on the trail on the way out....5-6 cat lengths in ~200 ft and pulling away! That was proof in the puddin for me!

My results are similar. I'm running a titanium spring, titanium pins for the weights, titanium cover bolts and his carbon cover. I run a titanium primary bolt from alternative impact. And 2 glide washers.

This is on a 2013 600 pro rmk. At 5,000 ft today in 3 ft of snow it pulled great.

I'm running 62 gram weights pulling 8250. Last year on my 2012 it would not pull that weight at the same altitude.

Glad to hear positive things. I would like someone to do a before and after clutch cover test with no addition changes to the clutches to get a more accurate review.
