Overhaul on the Diamond Drive

This weekend should be my last ride. I picked up a 06 m7 this season.

Im going to replace the fluid in my d drive and install my clutch kit.

Question is, what else can be done to make the d drive perform better. Im going to get a shift assist, is there any other tricks?

change oil

Just change oil and look for shaving should be ok, but if have time split case an inpect to be sure the 05-06 dd are pretty solid not as may failures.Sorry on the last ride bummer.........elnino is rockin us here...

I would split the cases for sure and clean it out. You may have to any ways because a lot of times they will have a drain plug but no fill plug. Other than that rip it and have fun.
