I've got an 06 cummins with a 4" straight pipe into duals, so its equally loud on both sides of the truck. And I mean its loud, unless you're in the cab, then its really not bad at all. I live in the country, and it's mainly a farm truck now so I don't care. It really doesn't blow much smoke either. Now I've got a pretty much bone stock '12 cummins and its really quiet and boring to drive lol I love a straight-piped cummins
Those 06's are nice trucks, i havent seen many with reasonable tuning that smoke like the old 12 valves. But then again, since EFI Live released support for them there are a few fellas that only want to fog for mosquitos, but there are those in every brand crowd.
