i'll line up with you :face-icon-small-hap

pulling is gay unless you are hooked to a sled

i agree lol, ill line up, i recognize your username from dmaxforum, when i still had my dmax i was always on there

First off, truck tug of wars are completely pointless. Only prooves who weighs more, has bigger tires and lower gears. Second off, that dodge driver is a complete dick. Come on man, you gotta know when to quit, he went way too far. Thirdly, if it was me in my duramax that had that dick pull me around like that, i would have waited untill he stood on his nerf bar like the King he thinks he is, and then proceded to yank his truck out from under him and pulled the piece of ****e down the interstate at 80 with no one in it, bouncing it off of every K-rail i saw along the way. Its a steriotype, but lots of the cummins guys i meet are like this guy. Not all of them, i have a few buds that are cummins guys and they are good eggs, but there too many that give a reason to steriotype them

Maybe he did go to far but how far had the chevy driver run his mouth before they decided to hook up?

Had he run his mouth all over town about what a POS the Dodge was? Maybe the Dodge driver wanted to prove a point.

I say it's funny as heck. Don't get into a situation that you aren't prepared for.

a lot of the cummins drivers give diesels a bad rap around here to. i got one or two of those stereotypical cummins driver buddys that are fun to screw with, they get wound up real easy.

Sounds like you guys are jealous. :jaw:

ha ive seen the stereotype too, mostly beat to hell with rediculous stacks or the walmart automotive isle glued to the side of their rhino lined pos blowing smoke at every light, i have seen a few very clean nice cummins tho too, just alot more shotty ones lol

smoke means fast didn't you know that? at least that's the mentality most of the cummins drivers around here have. they're bad enough here that its got to the point people are pushing for emission testing which will just be another pain in the a$$ on top of utahs pointless annual safety inspections that do nothing but take money out of peoples pockets. i got nothin against the cummins but these particular folks sure give them and all diesels a bad name.

Stacks are queer.
Make you look like your Ma & Pa were siblings.

The title of this thread needs to be changed from Out Pulled to SCHOOLED!
Now for every Dodge out there blowing black smoke, There is a Ford and a Chevy doing the same thing. All brands have the same type of idiot driving them. There is a moron that lives past me with a Duramax. jacked up big wheels grill gaurd straight pipe the whole nine yards, wouldn't even know how to hook up a trailer let alone pull one. Everytime that idiot comes around the corner he floors it and blows black smoke. There is no worse sound in this world than a V8 diesel with straight pipes. At least a Cummins with staight pipes is tolerable. To loud, yes, but tolerable.

my 6.4 with 5" straight is probably the quitest straight pipe diesel ive ever heard, id imagine it has something to do with the compounds but i agree with you every brand has its share of idiots

yes every brand has its idiots, that's why i specified in "my area". around here cummins just happen to have the highest number of dueche bag drivers. agree with mafesto on the stacks, but will have to disagree with skidoo on the v8 sound. imo no cylinder arrangement 4,6,10, or 12 sounds better than a good ol v8 gas or diesel. especially not a rice burner sounding CR cummins, 12 valves don't sound so bad though.

Sorry Vern, I usually agree with alot of what you say. But V8 diesels sound like CHIT!!!! But, I am a Cummins owner :face-icon-small-hap Bone stock I might add, right down to the exhaust. Pulls everything I hook to just fine and dandy without all that power adder cr@p.

You are right there is no sweeter sound than a well tuned exhaust on a V8 gas vehicle, but there is something about a turboed V8 diesel that makes it sound like crap straight piped or muffled to a light extent. I've got a nephew with a Ford and a straight pipe and it sounds like a darn Hoover vacumn cleaner. That POS Duramax I mentioned earlier sounds the same way. Six cylinder diesels sound the best with a tuned exhaust. Course what can I say I to drive a Dodge with a Cummins bone stock including the exhaust and it pulls anything I hooked to it without a problem to date.
