Hello all,

My name is Sean and I can only imagine that I'm a minority here as I don't own a sled and I live in Phoenix, AZ. So what am I doing here? Glad you asked, I just recently discovered timber sleds and have fallen in love. Living in the desert for the past 10 years I have always been an avid dirt bike rider and currently own a 2013 XC-W 500. I grew up in western Colorado so I'm no stranger to snow, but the Last time I went snowmobiling the SkiDoo Summit 670 HO was king of the mountain with its long 136“ track , so it's been awhile since I have been in the snow. Anyway with having family in western Colorado I am seriously considering a timber sled for the KTM.

Perfect bike for it. Welcome. Many, many days of good reading in the snobike section (which you've probably already been diving into). And don't stop reading on just the first page. Keep going back and back and there are many helpful threads that have just slowly fallen way back in time. Many great and helpful folks on that forum.
