oregon house rental

wtd..oregon house rental

I am looking for a large home to rent in the crescent lake trail system or Sumpter area. I need a home that we can drive to and snowmobile from the front door. We have stayed at Diamond the past few years cost have gone through the roof. This is the anual family ride so I would like a easy trail system.

Any help would be great! I know diamond peaks is a nice area but I am unsure how easy access to the trails are from some of homes. Parking can also be an issue with two or possible three enclosed traliers.

Any other sugestion of sutable riding areas?

pm me any links or possible locations.

http://www.vrbo.com/88905 This is where we stayed. Decent place, decent price. Tucked in the trees with lots of parking, and no fear of theft. Close to several trailheads, and not too long of a trip to Crater Lake. LaPine is the best bet for groceries, but the breakfast at the local tavern is great.

............ $65/nt, 1-2 people; $5/nt each additional person.
............ Stay 7 consecutive nts -- pay for 6
............ $390/wk, 1-2 people, $30/wk each extra guest; 1% state lodging tax.

rental home

Thanks for the reply.

I did see the home when I was searching. Where you able to ride from the house or did you trailer to the snow parks? Parking is important.

We trailered to several of the nearby snow parks. The house had plenty of parking for our four vehicles, three of which had trailers.

Distance from the rental to:

Walt Haring Snowpark (Chemult) = 24.8 miles

North Crater Lake Snowpark = 55 miles. South Diamond and Three Lakes Snowparks are also nearby.

Junction Snowpark and Crescent Lake Snowparks = 12-13 miles

Hope this helps.

Sumpter is a great place for families... I'm not sure of house or cabins to rent in the area but I know there are a few. I've stayed at both the Scoop N Steamer Log Cabins and the Depot Inn... you can ride from both locations. The trail head starts at the Depot Inn and you can get fuel and food within walking distance.

They do a great job of grooming and there are some fun play areas for all types of riding.

Here are a few links...

If you contact on of the real estate companies they should have info concerning rentals in the area.

lodging

All of the sugestions are great ones. Thanks.

I know Sumpter and togate would be a great family get away.Great snow and trails.

Three families take this trip and we have been spoiled in the past few years. We had a large table for al the kids and parents at dinner... Good times! One house would be great if I could find one.

ABC in tolgate does have a large cabin that could work.
