Opinions on Carl's modified Powder Pro's

Now lets get this right . No ski is going to be everybodys first pick. Powder pros are a very aggresive ski that I personally love. Carls cycle modded skis are slightly less aggresive or responsive butt are easier to sidehill with because they do not want to head uphill as easy my opinion learn to ride stock powder pros and if your not happy the Struthers crew would be happy to modd them for you.

Been riding PPs since they first came out several years ago (on 2 different sleds). Have always liked them except for the unexpected gab when sidehilling or carving a countersteer 
turn. Did the Carl's mod a few weeks ago and it definately helped in deep snow. No unexpected grab and I can cut a tighter layover turn. Skis can give you arm pump in the spring since they are so aggressive (but it's a good workout for the dirt bike).

Some guys have swapped the old sikehiller 2's (2006 RMK's) for the grippers and been very happy. If you want something more aggressive, switch to the powder pro's. I would definintely get the Struthers mod.
IMO powder pro's are gonna be better than any stock ski. Yes they do take a little getting used to, but you will be happy with the outcome. I found out what everyone was talking about with the whole cut or not cut thing and i ended cutting mine after a couple rides because they felt so grabby. They suit me alot better now that they are cut. Not to put Carl's Cycle out of business or anything, but you can cut them yourself
just bought a set of PP that have been cut. These skis are probably the best thing ive done to my sled.
i have run Jacks's PP mod skis and love them. I don't think he has ever modded something and made it worse than the original version. Remember it's captian Jack Struthers snowmobile Hall of Fame. He is so well known people know him by his first name.
